Reach =/= canon

Nice contribution, now would you kindly leave the thread and let people actually help with the question, because honestly nobody cares if you think Halo: Reach is canon or not.

^This. You can think what you want, Cameo, but stating your OPINION in every thread that has anything to do with Reach is not going to change anyone's opinion. So basically you're resorting to trolling, all you're going to do is annoy people.

OT: I'm pretty sure that Bungie said in one of the weekly updates that there was no canon appearance for Noble Six >_> but I'm not entirely sure, so don't quote me on that.

I think Noble Six with the UA attachment for the Mark V[B] and default rest with gray color is Bungie's canon, seeing how that's what they used for the advertising and everything that depicted Noble Six.

Edit:
Oops, I meant Mark V[B] instead of Mark V.

Default armor, Mark V[B] Helmet with no attachments, gray with no emblem.

Basically, what you see when you select his Firefight voice.

On the back of the packaging for Emile's action figure it display N6 as having all default armour with the first helmet attachment.
I've noticed Bungie flipping back and forth when it comes the 6's attachment. He had it in the reveal trailer, but it was gone in all subsequent trailers, while the rest of his armor remained the same. I've noticed the figures all seem to include the UA attachment, even though no other recent media (that I'm aware of) has included it.

I prefer to stick to what's shown in the game, simply because it was created solely by Bungie, but It'd be nice to get some confirmation one way or the other. Not that it's really that important in the grand scheme of Halo canon, though,

Then possibly it is agreeable that canonically N6 wore all default armour with an undisclosed helmet attachment? Seems to be the way it is panning out.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

Regardless of how you edit his/her armor the storyline is mostly identical(how correct the canon of that storyline is is up for debate but I digress). But I would assume that the male version with default armor would be the most "canon" you're going to get.

I started up the heated debate on whether the SPARTAN-II in the cryo tube near the end of Reach is really Linda.
I created the Moa XING avatar pic.
Also I earned the All Star nameplate with this submission to Week 14 All Stars http://www.bungie.net/images/News/Inline11/bwu_0415/art/likea boss.jpg

Ya, his name was Thom, and he died months before Reach

I'd say the default one we saw in the VGA first trailer. Grey armor, default with I think para kneepads? And the UA Mark V(B) helm.

That's just me though, who knows. I'd personally prefer female Noble Six, just to balance and have a female kickass main char.

This whole "choose your gender" crap is for RPGs, not FPSs. Why people care about character customization in a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER(or in any FIRST PERSON game) is beyond me. If I considered Reach canon, I would say Noble 6 is a male, and he would wear the default armor with the UA attachment for his helmet(like in the VGA trailer).

Same here. Halo needs a few kickass women in more prominent roles in the game. There are plenty of 'em in the books, but the games...meh, they've been a bit lacking. I always play the campaign as female Six. Plus I like the voice actor for female Six more as well, I think she did a better job than the male did.

I'm pretty sure there is no official canon appearance or gender for Six, if there was then he/she probably would have appeared on the Noble statue that came with the Legendary Edition of Reach. Plus I'm pretty sure they said something about them not creating any real canon or backstory for Six because they wanted the player to do that and didn't want to limit it by having an official canon appearance for him/her.
