Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

I noticed alot of the Spartan-II's aren't that high ranking. Is there is a reason? I'm I wrong?

They fight, not lead.

When they do lead, they only lead a few Marine squads and their fellow Spartans.

Kurt is an exception with the Spartan III's and all.

i don't think the SPARTAN program lasted quite long enough for MC to reach that high of a rank.

Spartans were made to fight, not lead.

They were made to fight, no use for a physically superior soldier if he/she is sitting on a desk.

Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy was as high as a Spartan II would get.

John-117 was awarded the rank Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy after the Battle of the Ark, and is the highest ranked enlisted man in the entire UNSC Navy.

This, MC can pull rank on the majority of soldiers he will meet on the field.
