Well seeing as my xbox broke down and I just sent it to be repaired today for ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SEVAN DOLLARS! I guess I have to stick to my pc games for now because it takes 7-10 days for repairs. Good ol' classic Medal of Honor Allied Assault, its a good classic.

Damn powersurges... my xbox was off when we had a lightning storm and there mustve been a powersurge or something because my box wouldnt turn on and the clocks didnt even flicker and reset.

Why didn't you buy a used one. They cost less, and would probably be in better shape, cause they refurbish them. 0_o

I haven't seen very much on Fable, is it going to be any good.

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

Halo of course. I've got to get in all the practice I can for Xbox Live.

I wouldnt buy a new one because:

1. it costs 60$ more than the repairs do.

2. I would lose all of my saved data.

3.I would lose about 6 months of my XBL account thats still on there.

4. Noone would want to buy a broken Xbox.

I was thinking about selling it to some chump, and then dissapearing so he couldnt find me when he realized it didnt work. And then with the recently acquired dough, buy the Halo edition Xbox.

Most likely Halo, as none of the other games I have seem to be that entertaining after having been finished repeatedly. It's one of the only games that you can come back to after a while and still be hugely entertaining.

GTA San Andreas is out before Halo 2, so I'll probably fill my time playing that until Nov 11th.

you wouldn't lose your six months, just put your account on a memory card. sell it to EB, i got 75 bucks for my broken one. buy a new xbox before you sell the old and use a mem card to transfer everything you can (it may take a few trips, but it is worth it). buying a new xbox is the best thing i ever did (gaming wise).

i will be playing fable, black arrow and Return to castle wolfenstein (mostly online)

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Mostly ESPN NFL 2K5, Halo, Kotor, and RS3BA. Eventually Battle front.

That would be all well and good if I could turn ON my Xbox to save the data.
But to get the data out of it at the moment I would have to crack it open and take the hard drive out.

1. it costs 60$ more than the repairs do.
You said your repairs cost $139 a new one only cost $149

2. I would lose all of my saved data.
Good excuse to play all your games again. If you can't even turn your box on it's a good bet your save data is gone anyways.

3.I would lose about 6 months of my XBL account thats still on there.
No you account data is stored at the XBL servers. You can recover it on your new xbox

4. Noone would want to buy a broken Xbox.
Have some destructive fun with it
