The Humans were heavily advanced back when the forruners were around. (with the help of the forruners)
There is nothing to support this, and there are implications against it.

They were a Tier 2 Civilazation.
Could you imagine the Covenant resisting the Forerunners for so long being so outnumbered and out gunned? Nope. I seriously doubt that they were Tier 2.

They were the 2nd leaders of the Universe.
What in the hell? Universe =/= Galaxy. And no where was it implied that Humanity held any sort of leadership role in the galaxy.

They started war with Forruners because THEY wanted to be number 1.
Nope.

The humans lose, and are wiped out entirely. They regrown in 100,000 BCE when the Librarian found them.
They were not wiped out entirely. A few thousand survived. They were not "regrown", they simply repopulated from the survivors.

Conclusion: The Humans were a Tier 2 civilization, but were wiped out. The Humans regrown that in the 26th Century. Any flaws, comment, don't be mad.
Rubbish.
