"You were weak... and gods must be strong."

Is anybody here as curious as I am about races such as the Sangheili or Jiralhanae, San'Shyuum or Humanity's prehistory?

And by that, I mean pre-Cryptum. Like, perhaps a greater glance into San'Shyuum/Human society before first contact with the Forerunners/Flood.

And even more interesting, the Post-Halo array activation society of Sangheili or Jiralhanae. I'd love to see what was parallel to human history and what was different. While we can't ascertain the accuracy of what we saw in Origins, the idea of ancient Sangheili pyramind culture is certainly intriguing.

Thoughts?

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

We really don't have much if any information on this level, though i would love 343 to go into the history and social casts of the races.

Whole books probably could be pulled on all the information regarding these subjects, though I don't think a lot of it is important to the story :/ I'd love to explore all these, maybe they could do another anthology of short stories like Halo Evolutions dealing with these subjects.

We know that ancient Humanity and San'Shyuum were in an alliance against the forerunners.

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

I assume we shared a partially same cultural evolution as the shangheili until they found forerunner artifacts.

That's why my curiousity and urge to at least see some information of the ancient Sangheili is so strong- I'd love to compare their culture to ancient humanity seeing as they've maintained something through the ages that humanity started to lose around the beginning of A.D.- honor and conviction above all other traits.

My name is Legion, for we are many.

I'd be more interested in the Jackals' society since we pretty much know a lot about the Elites and Brutes...but you do have a point

Humanity has lost nothing of the sort. Go into a science conference touting psuedo-science and you will see what will happen to your reputation as a scientist. You will be completely destroyed, you could probably expect to lose your current job, no one will take you seriously afterwards and whatever hope of getting a research grant from anyone ever again will almost certainly be lost. If you flout the scientific method your reputation as a scientist is gone. Honour and conviction is not exclusive to martial societies.

You aren't the only one. I'd personally love a story on the Hunters. Their history is almost unknown compared to the others.
