Si-!

What do you all expect for the upcoming expo? I have a strong hunch that Bungie will finally blow us away with a first glimpse of their new series and it has me very excited as I am finally growing weary of Halo.

Im more excited for what Bioware and Bethesda has to offer...no offense Bungie.

No.

I want to see what bungie can do with total freedom. No big wigs breathing down their necks dictating what they should do with the stories or the characters.

I'm looking forward to a fresh IP from Bungie.

I mean, after all. They beat ID software to a lot of punches with the first online multiplayer game, I'm sure the next time they do something revolutionary people will be around to see it this time.

You will be deeply disappointed then. Bungie's publisher is Activision I believe. You know, the people that won't let COD die when it desperately needs some changes.

For me, I already know about Skyrim and Mass Effect, thus I'm not as excited (don't get me wrong, I squealed like the girl I am over the teasers).

This is going to be something completely new. And that's got me giddy.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

Not so fast!
Quit giving into media hysteria. If anyone was paying attention, they'd know that the terms of the 10 year contract practically assured Bungie that their IP wouldn't follow CoD's fate. That's right kids. Bungie keeps the IP and holds all creative rights to it. Activision is just the ATM that's also bound by contract.

Hello? Community? Anyone in there?

Welcome to bungie, you have no rights. play nice!

I'm more intrigued by Pax Prime 2011. I wonder what 343i is going to announce.

While I'm curious about what Bungie and 343i are doing I'm much more interested in Skyrim, ME3, Deus Ex: HR, and Battlefield 3.

If Bungie and 343 plan to announce something this year I have a feeling it won't be at E3. Seems like most of the big titles have been abandoning it for other conventions.

"What do you hear?"
"Nothing but the rain."
"Then grab your gun and bring in the cat."
"Boom, boom, boom!"

LIES!

Activision was sneaky and made the contract null by writing at the very bottom in a very small font that was colored bright yellow (white would get 'em in trouble) that says:

"All of the above is a lie. We completely own everything that this studio creates. They have no rights."

But on a more serious note...I won't start getting excited until E3 is upon us.

Why? Whyyyyyyyy?

What the heck could be expanded upon?

Jake

I'm more interested in Bungie because of their MMO game that was announced. Sounds like that is going to be a lot of fun. Especially 'cuz it's Bungie.

I just want some details to keep me going. The wait is agonizing

It's only a bit over a month until E3. Hopefully we will get a teaser trailer and soon after that a forum to discuss and speculate about the new game. Best part of games is when everybody is waiting and speculating about them. It's much more fun than actually playing the game. At least that's how it's to me.

As others pointed out, Bungie made it clear that Activision funds and publishes. They have NO say in the games development or content.
