Not proven and that is only slightly hinted at by a composer, not a writer or anyone else with a similar job. So no, your correction is not right.
Okay then, show me PROOF they weren't in a relationship.
I believe there has been proof to say there were. Didn't one of the main guys in Reach's development say they were the only survivors of the original Noble Team, and thus were closer then any normal Spartan?
Carter carries Kat's body to evac. Carter is hit the WORST by her death, his tone of voice is completely different then normal.
I'm sorry, but you haven't shown anything to disprove it.
fun fact: all of that is conjecture, none of it is hard proof. the only proof that could be presented is some writer for the game series saying they were. otherwise we can assume they aren't, because Spartans just didn't think about that kind of thing.
Marty asked it in the Legendary Commentary for Reach, and the rest of the guys in the commentary confirmed it. So yes, Kat and Carter were involved with each other romantically.
And reduced (s)ex drive=/=no (s)ex drive. And on top of that, even having it reduced doesn't mean that a Spartan won't have a romantic relationship with someone else or with another Spartan. They're human just like the rest of us, even if they are super-human, and they share all of our emotions.
