Haha, no I don't actually think like that. I was drunk when I posted that. And I spelled "recognise" correct ;). The English invented the language so they get to dictate how things are spelled.
Switch has a point, I mean as a Brit I am obviously going to pick up and understand 99% of British accents.
Anywhere else in the world and I am going to have a hard time defining accents and interpreting certain sounds that "locals" and "nationals" are easily able to understand.
