So what is your favorite moment from either Myth: TFL or Myth 2: SB?

I'd have to say Alric saying "I'll handle this.", then destroying an entire army of myrms and killing Sinis, the cutscene where Soulblighter digs up the Tain, or the 3 sets of dialouge between Balor and Alric on The Last Battle.

My meory is a little fuzzy, most of what I can recall up is MP moments, but SP . . . hmmm . . .

Crapping my pants playing through Stair of Grief (SB) my first time. Way too many Maul, and I didn't know how to effectively handle the level.

But best moment I can recall is my attempts to replay through SB . . . I was without casualities up to the Library (on legendary). 5 waves assault you. I was doing good until a fetch got in on the fourth wave, annilihating all my beserkers and dwarves. So I had to fend off the entire fifth wave with only 8 archers. How I did it I do not know.

Its funny how marathon and myth are the only two games i enjoy losing. . . something about seeing your ventilated corpse fly through the air (from its POV) or seeing your entire army cease to exist as one of your fallen dwarves satchels all ignite in a single, explosive instant. O:-)

Myth: TFL "Seige of Madrigal"

One warrior left when I finish the level. He starts cheering "We did it!!" =- P

Myth TFL: "Great Devoid". Took Balor's head and placed some satchel charges around it and launched it across the map into the pit.

One of the people I know on Myth that I've known for many years made a plugin called "Heroes of Coop" for Myth 2. This makes the Deceiver available in every level, but he when he dies a massive explosion occurs every time. So when he dies, everyone stats shouting HOLY -blam!- RUN . Those that don't get out of the blast radius have their body parts blasted across the map. Cracks me up everytime (especially when you see a little chubby dwarf trying to get away)

Gameplay wise? Hmm, there are so many…
I’d have to say that one memorable moment would be the first time I ever attempted the game on Legendary difficulty (yes, Halo’s top two difficulty levels are “barrowed” from Myth.) I was still pretty green at the time, and needles to say, my entire army was completely wiped off the face of the earth within at least two minutes. I swear I just sat there, gawking in aw at the incredible carnage and savagery that lay before me.

And then I tired again. And got slaughtered. Again. And again. And again.

And I savored every minute of my gut spewing, limb flinging, blood splattering defeat.

Yah that's the fun part about Myth, losing is just as fun as winning (in single player, that is).

Seige of Madrigal was glorious. And yes, enjoying losing is the mark of a truly great game.
