Ever think they take it off?

I must repost.

Double repost. Why does no one even think of this!?

What about it? Yes, Spartans take their armour off. However, they do go for prolonged periods in the field. What do they do then, hold it? Obviously the suit has to have a system for waste.

That would be unnecessary weight, He would do the same thing a marine would do, Take off his armor and go.

You do realise it is no easy task taking off a suit of MJOLNIR? It takes a team of specialist engineers to do it, not something readily available in the field.

Kinda defeats the purpose of having a near impenetrable suit of armour that is vaccuum sealed doesn't it? We don't see astronauts flipping open a poop shoot.

Besides, there is already a canonical answer that was given early on in the thread. The suit recycle's waste into sustenance for the wearer.

To be honest it is a very valid question,

i think they will do what we do with our SAS here. appetite suppressors and pills that stop you dumping and others that let you go at a convenient, i am not in the SAS so i cannot say how long these wonder pills last, but in 2552 i am sure that they have something similar.

urine is easy to use and recycle, feces is a different matter.

Hey guys, this may sound stupid but after a fairly viscious round of grifball, me and my freind got into a heated debate about how spartans can take craps in their armour (and i know how dumb that sounds :L)but i figured it was a good question and wanted to see if you guys could shed some light on the subject. So forum, how do spartans take craps while wearing Mjolnir armour??

It's how Armor lock was born. My theory. Prove me wrong!

had a discussion on this ages ago with some friends about using 'sealed' armour in the field. the simple solution is don't have waste products, the only thing that is expelled by your body is waste material that it cannot use. if you were to take intra-veinous food, that contained the essentials of what your body needs and uses, there shouldn't be solid waste coming out. one of the biology lecturers at our college said this was 'interesting' theory and doesn't break any of our bodies rules. so maybe SPARTAN troopers don't eat normal food, maybe their 'food' is administered directly by their armour suit?

i just had a vision of the chief in the library, fighting off flood forms, and then going STOP! CAN I HAVE SOME PRIVACY FOR A FEW MINUTES?!
lol
but yeah, they probably have a container which they replace at the end of each mission

Weapon of Oppression

Why can't Spartans simply wear adult diapers ?

  • 05.16.2011 5:39 PM PDT

ELITES FTW

After all the stuff Spartans went through in training, the stuff they had to take (a billion injections), they cannot release waste.
