Wielder of flames.....

Hey guys have you've ever been wondering how halo reach still feels incomplete?

The answer is pretty simple really. HAYABUSA AND KATANA?! The explosion of armor that we've recieved with EVEN RECON INCLUDED. Hehe...is there some rocket science i have to do to figure out why? Cm-on, just one more simple model to build and render in maya and z brush and upload it in a reach dlc. To be honest i would be my birthday wish this upcoming summer. One of these day I hope bungie and 343 industries would listen and continue the magic.

Long live bungie and 343!!

sincerely,

crazy sarge21

(Ok that sounded pathetic..well i just wanted to prove a point, If you want to go out with a bang make a second bang after wards.)(And word of advice...find better test subjects who have better morale for creativity, not jerks who are not appreciative to your vision.)

Oh, and personally I'm against Hayabusa. It was just a tribute to the company that made a Spartan in their fighter game. It was just kinda silly..

Wielder of flames.....

I know, letme guess Ninja gaiden? Dead or alive? people just have to calm down. There must be thousands who would love a katana on their back to compliment their armor. For example Jun's chest piece (Tactical patrol) parafoil, ect.

I don't see anyone on this thread who needs calming down. The way I see it, Hayabusa was a major H3 thing and for every person who likes Hayabusa in Reach, I think there's another person who'd dissent against that particular armor installment. It really wasn't a popular idea to have brought into Reach, and I believe that's why it wasn't.

If it had unique assassinations it would be interesting, otherwise meh.

Looking for clan that isn't too serious? Then join the ODST 501st Airborne Battalion. Go to http://www.501st.forumclan.com for more info.

You ever heard of The Hayabusa Noob Song? That's maybe why they got rid of that armour.

I don't like Hayabusa or the Katana at all so their exclusion was welcome for me.

Dude, if they put Hyabusa into Reach, we'd see the same thing happen as we did in Halo 3: Everyone would wear it. That was one thing that drove me crazy about 3's armor. everone wore the F-ing Hyabusa.

In canon terms, I quite like the cheap and cheerful armour concept myself. I would have liked to have seen it issued to SIIIs. I mean, it fits there super shock trooper identidy, and meets there budget restraints.

I'm not opposed to alternate armour so to speak, more that Hayabusa doesn't aesthetically match that of Halo's.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Reach needs other stuff that is 100x more important than a sword and a helmet...

...I'm aware it's canon. I just don't like it.

Also, it irks me that you speak of it being issued to S-IIIs... Noble Team was a combination of Spartan-IIIs who had genetic quality similar to that of the S-IIs... Basically, they were late-arrival S-IIs who were the 'cream of the crop' of the S-III class. Because of their exceptional abilities they were pulled out of the larger S-III ops, given the same equipment as S-IIs, and put together to form another team equivalent to that of Grey Team or Black Team.

Full S-III companies would never be given full sets of MJOLNIR armor unless our economy was booming.. which is hard to do when you lose trillions with the fall of each planet.

Actually, Human colonies are very sparsely populated. Reach, the second largest Human stronghold only held 700 million people. There are continents that are surpass that population even now.

Reach wasn't even close to one of the more populated planets, however- it was largely military and industrial. I'm sure there were other human planets with a higher headcount.

That said, throughout entire planets, I'm sure there were billions up to trillions invested or used on that given planet/they did produce a lot, large populations or not. High, unused resource counts after all ;)
