Does the Flood count as a God-Faction?

Depends. If it's being put in at full end of forerunner flood war strength ALONGSIDE the full forerunner fleet or UNSC/covenant fleets, then yes.

However, if it's put in but you including that the UNSC/Covenant (or bulk of forerunners) where consumed because the flood are entering the Star Wars galaxy with those numbers, then I'm cool. Or if you have it entering as it was first release from alpha halo(CE) or when they first arrived in the forerunner flood war.

What if I had the flood by themselves at their second stage (Where they have a gravemind).

Either way, they will most likely become full power after not to long. Putting the flood on Coruscant would be like Giving a child a bucket full of sweets!

Given the technology on Coruscant, the Flood will master space travel in no time.

"One single flood spore can destroy a species" - Shipmaster

Also: I agree with you on people just bringing in the OP stuff like precursors or sun crusher -blam!-. How about we make a new thread, but you can only use stuff from the games/movies

Heh, like delta halo flood infection? I could live with that. Really their success depends on how quickly and how effectively their enemy does a quarantine. Imperials are fairly good at that.

Maybe not from games or movies, that's VERY limiting. However, there has to be a ruleset. The situation/encounter has to be spelled out so people can debate tactics and whatnot (I'm willing to toss out those big numbers if the halo fans are willing to actually admit star wars ships are powerful. The big as heck numbers may be the ships pumping ALL power into weapons.)

Hell, a page or so ago I did a kinda long post pointing this out, and even giving suggestions for a small scale encounter, and two different possibilities for a drawn out war.

well actually star wars has multiple levels of canonicity. However, nothing that goes against the movies is considered canon so Lucas does have all rights to change anything he see's fits to make a movie.

True, but in my examples I set the time for each universe clearly so there is no chance of randomly bringing in god-factions or super-weapons.

Well... that's fine, but it falls into oddness when CGI is used to discredit sources or calculations...

Star wars is just lame, although I did like episodes 1,2 & 3.

Halo kicks star wars in the blam!

Are you kidding me!!!!!! Those were the worst of the STAR WARS saga!!!

I've yet to see a compelling argument that supports that claim.

Anyway, I feel like my points to make this an actual intelligent debate are being completely ignored. So yeah, keep on -blam!-ing at each other with your superweapons and god-factions.

Go to redlettermedia.com and watch his Star Wars reviews. Those will explain to you why episodes 1,2, and 3 are garbage.

I have watched the first part of the ep1 review. That is, I call it a parody of a review because it's utter -blam!-. Way too much extra things tossed in, ignoring movie dialogue. (Why are they going underwater? when it was explained clearly). The reviews did NOTHING to convince me of anything.

I mean, whatever, opinions are opinions. But he did clearly explain why the prequels sucked and how it was terrible in every way.

Bad characters? I thought of a decent description of Padme in a very short time. "his random friends" just stuttered.

He never clearly explained anything that I got. I mean, he outright said in the first part "I don't like change!" that made my view of it lessen, especially when at the end of the first part (which I pointed out) he ignores the movies dialogue.

As I said, the bit I watched explained nothing about how the movie was terrible besides personal bias. Sure, maybe one or two bits were off but those are tiny scene details, not movie-wide "OMG SUCKAGES!"

The Ban Hammer is all that was and all that will be! The Ban Hammer is time and space, life and death! The Ban Hammer can see into your mind! The Ban Hammer can see into your soouull....

I'm pretty sure I can break this down.

Cortana > Princess Leia
Han Solo > Arbiter
Master Chief > Luke Skywalker
Wookie > Brutes
Grunts > Ewoks
Sith Lord > Gravemind

I dunno...seems 50/50 to me

Oh wait

Halo > Death Star (Seriously, Halo blows up Galaxies, no just planets)

HALO IS BETTERZ

Halo kills enemies and friendlies with each firing.

Death Star fired on enemies harms no friendlies on purpose.

Death Star blows up when two missles hits it's exhaust pipe. Halo blows up when you detonate a slipspace drive. Also, i the books, you can control the Halo detonation, so you can limit it to just 1 solar system.

and I call that stupid. It removes the whole nature of the halo ring pointed to in previous halo lore.

"Oh, this ring is the last resort weapon, the forerunners never dared fire it until the war was lost." Now it's "This is a super-weapon, but it's been around for far longer and could even be programmed to just kill all life on one planet, or one system."

I mean, that makes it seem more stupid that they lost to the flood <_<.

Oh, everything has a weakness. Not how many rebels died trying just to get to the trench, and then luke got lucky and force-guided the missiles in. This was only known because they had the plans.

Funny...The Ring goes off in a battlefield, all that is left are the droids from both sides, the war wouldn't be over, it would have just begun! A protocol would begin for the Empire once a distress signal is out that all living organisms have been killed in a section of Imperial space, Cloning would then begin, they would have an army of clones made in just a week's time.

Grand Admiral Thrawn devised a method to create stable, effective clones with impressive combat performance in roughly a week. In just a week, we could create millions of troops able to defeat any army with their E-11 Blasters which are basically brute shots but in Assault Rifle form.

Gah! I've been tryin to find out which ships are faster. But I've been having a lot of trouble. It traveled from a minimum of 56000000 km and a maximum of 399000000 km in 48 hours.

Correction: Distance is 100000000km in 48 hours.

I wonder how a violent first contact would happen.
Imagine the forerunner scanning an imperial star destroyer. The key parts would be scanned and then the ship would be surrounded. Then it should be boarded and surrounded by fighter craft and sentinels. If they offer reistance then maybe they'll use their weapons to disable the ISD, halo legends style.

Why would the forerunners just go "lulz attack!" Especially if the Imperials were in their own space.

First there was light, then there was fire, then there was NapalmQ...

and unstoppable force (super vader destroyer thing) vs. an unmovable object (High Charity; The covenant artificial homeplanet, with shields capable of repelling medium sized moons)

This is a question of the ages....
