Flood, it depends.
But I wonder if halo 4+ humans will stand a chance.
In 10 days we'll know more about forerunners.
It wouldn't turn into a serious enemy unless they infect a big planet, if that were to come, they would use their previous knowledge of similar encounters and even study their own parasite forms the Empire created and figure out how to deal with the Flood. Containment and Quarantines would begin, although I can't speak for the Empire in this as I wouldn't know what kind of plans they would have for such a thing aside from the Vong.
For certain they'd be able to handle the flood because they would treat it as a threat, unlike the Forerunners.
And they have the ability to prevent ships from landing/leaving the system, and can 'glass' a planet within hours.
Though, about interdictor cruisers, my brother pointed out an interesting thing.
Since those ships use gravity well generators, they could render an entire UNSC fleet harmless. Have several dummy (aka unmanned, all power to shields and every single bulkhead closed possible) victory star destroyers (or a similar ship), arranged infront/around the inerdictor. It activates the gravity well, all the missiles/MAC rounds would impact the 'meatshield' ships, rendering the entire volley useless.
