It's out. Came out a few days ago I'm pretty sure.

Why do you assume a comic version of The Fall of Reach would overide what is already established, in the canon hierarchy the comics and graphic novels would surely be at the bottom of the list, especially in this case as the authors have no previous (to my knowledge) involvement with the halo franchise.

The comics are on the same tier as novels.

However...

"New Canon> Old Canon"

I guess you missed my earlier post or something.
Here is what I said:
"Actually it would change nothing :P Because 343i have referred to both the events of Halo: Reach and TFoR in their videos on Waypoint. And not altered in any way either. They might use it to connect the game and the book better, so there might be a couple changes to both perhaps, but from all I've seen 343i has the same position on Reach as Bungie."

Unless they make changes to Reach in the comic book, then the two would still coexist and their would not be any change as 343i regards Halo: Reach and TFoR in the same way that Bungie does.

They've followed the Novel VERY faithfully so far, I don't see why they wouldn't continue to do so. But we'll find out. Hopefully they don't screw this up.

I meant the game :P haha, that's what I meant by "Reach". I know they won't screw up, 'cause they have the Halo Bible, I'm pretty sure it'll just be a retelling of TFoR in comic book format. I wouldn't really expect any changes to Halo: Reach either, as I said 343i view Reach and TFoR both as equally valid canon.

**SPOILERS**

I have all of the issues. It's pretty much just the first quarter of Fall of Reach summarised. There are a few additions shown from the Insurrectionist's perspective, Colonel Watts mainly.

The only change to canon I noticed is in the Spartan's first mission to capture him. Linda is with the team in the comic as opposed to on a roof like in the book. Also the breaching into the room is different, I don't think they used an elevator shaft. And lastly, the thing I don't like, John gets injured in the process.

Anything specific you want to know beyond that I'd be happy to inform you.
u sure i thought he gto a purple heart fom that mission

Halo: Bootcamp hardcover edition.

I bought and read the book today, it was a very interesting read. It was amazing to finally see all the spartans visualized, and their time in bootcamp and on the Watts mission.

There was not a single error I could find, except one. And while the error is something that was most likely overlooked on the artists part, it's something that BUGGED THE CRAP OUT OF ME.

Although Linda is referred to as "Spartan 058" in the text, as she should be, there was an annoying little typo on her armor during the Watts mission.

Other than that, it was a great read. Can't wait for the next part of the series.

Also, I apologize for the crappy picture quality. I took them with my ipod. I don't want to scan the pages, since I'm not sure if that's allowed in the rules.
