Spartan Dawn Squadron ready to kick your ass...
Hi! I was wondering how the real definitive halo could be, so I've decided to ask your opinion about my idea of it.
I would like it as a M.M.O.R.P.F.P.S.G. Based on the UNSC aganist Covenant war before Reach.
The game could be created on 2 versions acording to the faction you want to play (The UNSC version and The Covenant version, of course if you choose UNSC you get to play as an Spartan or ODST and if you choose Covenant you get to play as an Elite or Brute).
On each one the first time you turn it on you get to customize your character's class, armor and other stuff.
also you get to create your own Frigate and name it (you know, Customize it's class, weapons, the position of the bridge, things like that).
After all this process the main menu shows the game modes like in any game, displaying the following (Seeing your frigate's bridge as the menu background would be awsome =D):
Campaign:
This is not actualy the historical campaign we all know on halo games, imagine this as your own campaign.
When selecting this menu for the first time you get to play a little tutorial in case you are new with this games or the controller options are diferent, you begin in a UNSC/Covenant Training instalation (depending on the version you are playing)where you learn to move, to shoot, to drive vehicles such as warthog/spectre, Scorpion/Wraith, mongoose/ghost Pelican/Phantom, and more, after clearing this tutorial you are redirected to your Frigate menu, wich displays a galaxy map marking your current position, covenant controlled planets, UNSC controlled planets, Neutral planets, and some options like "Edit character"(to edit your appeareance of course) "Arsenal"(To edit your weapons [Yeah, dont you think it would be great to add attachments to your weapons like at COD Black ops?]) "Friends" (You know, to invite friends to your frigate and invade some planet or attack someone's else's frigate [Attack ally frigates at your own risk xD])
Basically campaign is a massive war of space and ground battles provoqued by the players, there may be also daily events like special missions rebel insurrections, and other things like harsh weather on some planets and many more.
(I shall explain the battle sistem on Skirmish mode)
Skirmish:
Here you can experience free online invasions that doesnt affect the campaign world (like custom games with the campaign game mode)
In this battle sistem each time you are deployed on the battle field you get your AI squad formed by 4 standard Marines/grunts and 2 Anti-Infantry Marines/Jackals
(they follow you and engage acording to orders you give them [Hold the position, Cover me, Freelance, Cease fire, etc.] If one of them dies it wont respawn until you do, if you die your squad members will retreat and will rejoin you when you respawn [this is to avoid suicide cheating to get a thousand people army] a good idea here is that when you respawn you dont shuddenly appear from nowhere, instead it would be good if you are bringed in by a Pelican/Phantom or fall on a capsule)
The objective of the game is basicaly to fight a kind of Invasion-Slayer game but with some adds like the possibility to request bombardments, ammo, vehicles, turrets and many more stuff from your frigate (Like the killstreak rewards of COD)
and the posibillity to move from ground to space and from space to ground any time you want using a Saber/Banshee to continue the fight there or to attempt to destroy the enemy frigate (this may also block their KS Rewards too since there's no one to send them)
Forge:
We all already know what this is for xD
Options:
This is the clasic menu to adjust your screen settings, audio levels, controller setup and... well you know how it goes...

Custom games:To play custom games of slayer, CTF, Oddball, etc. with friends
Return to Title screen:
