Well many people are wanting his Storyline to continue but I honestly don't see how or why it can/could.

1. The Flood, The Covenant - There gone?
2. Halo is a Trilogy - Halo 3 was the final one.

Can someone explain this to me?

Sorry if I actually managed to get some of this wrong - I know some of the Storyline but not all of it.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

Master Chief had a story before Halo CE that was depicted in The Fall of Reach.

After Halo 3 MC is seen heading toward an unknown planet that looked Forerunner in the legendary ending. Those of us who want to see the story continue want to know what this planet is and what happens to MC.

Did you stick until after the Halo 3 credits? There lies your answer.

Can't believe it's almost been four years since we last found out what happened.

"Wake me when you need me"

Maybe, just maybe, we will someday see what happened to MC.

UWG Great group, you should check it out.

BungieHUB

I bet 343 will continue it.

The Flood is not gone. "Defeat is simply an addition of time, to a sentence I never disserved. But you....imposed."

-Gravemind.

And the Covenant is broken, but a few loylalists still remain.

There are simply too many mysteries left unsolved, especially after Medicant Bias told the Chief he will "be [his] example" and he'll send the Chief to his old masters (Forerunners).

1. Neither the flood or the covenant are gone. The covenant is fractured, decending into chaos between different beliefs and races, but not gone. The human are really becoming the lead race in the future, alot of knoledge was lost when the prophets fractured from the covenant (cant remember name off top of head).
The flood is by no means gone, the didnt originate from the same star systems as the forerunners, they traveled to them, I believe, meaning that the flood is by no means dead, it is in fact most likely very much alive.

Yes, there was a Halo trilogy... but who's to say it can't become a quadrilodgy? (Sure thats not spelt right)
It can continue very easily, theres stilla lot of loose ends to tie up, the mc will become involved simply by popular demand, there'll likely also be a prequel or 2 involving him, at least to an extent, personly, I'd rather play as part of one of the Spartan II teams for one of the games.
There will more then likely be a book to continue the story rather then a game though. (hopefully)

if you haven't watched 3's legendary ending, go do it now. He's drifting towards a forerunner planet/fortress world. It's confirmed by frankie that his story will be continued, wither by novel or by game.

I'm betting the world he is drifting towards is the Yautja homeworld.

AvP/Halo crossover anyone?

I hope dearly by novel.

Can't believe I am being told to go watch the Legendary Ending of Halo 3...

I have seen it countless times.

Besides - The Mysterious Planet - We don't know what it is?

Plus Quadroligy - The Halo 3 Game Box states the end to the thrilling trilogy or something along those words.

It just wouldn't make sense to be honest.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I'm inclined to agree. The story would be a big step up in the lore and would confuse a lot of the fans with er... fewer brain cells than others.

I'm perfectly happy with the conclusion of the Halo trilogy, it wouldn't bother me in the least if Halo 3 was as far as we got in the story. The only thing that happened after the end of H3 that interests me is I want to see the conclusion of the Arbiter's story arc.

343 is making halo 4 right now, as for chiefs story line, i hope they continue it.
