I definitely going with XBOX. I can't stand that in the PC version you always have to put the shots way out in front of an enemy when they running, and close quarters combat is horrendus.

Huge reason I'm waiting for Halo 2...Xbox Live. Its a stable online network b/c everyone must have at least DSL or Cable to play, which IMO makes lag disappear.

Post your comments.

I'm gonna say Xbox, but I think that Halo PC would be cooler if I had the controller adapter.

The reason that pc is not as good is because that the pc does not give you the satisfying feeling of shooting the assault rifle and such. I hate it. I think the rumble on the Xbox controls add alot to it.

That and the fact you need an amazingly powerful video card to run Halo in all of it's glory. I have a 9200 SE PCI card, and it just can't handle the single player or tight games of MP. I wanna get the 9600 XT, but IDK know if even that could run Halo in all of it's glory. Sucks huh?

Why go for that card? You should go get a 9800XT 256MB video card (By ATi) like I did =]

Wait a few weeks for the nVidia 6800 Ultra video cards...but they'll cost around $400-$600.

I don't have anywhere near as much money to spend $400 on a 9800 XT...all I have is $180.

Naa... Halo PC is 100x's better than Halo Xbox. Better graphics, hi-res, new maps, new weapons, new vehicles, banshee in multi, turrents in multi, ONLINE!!, MODS!!!, create your own maps...

Halo PC is the next best thing to Halo 2.

If you dont have a top-of-the-line video card, the graphics arent just not as good, but they take out elments of the objects in the game. (ex. charge wheel bar on plasma pistol, rippling shields on the mc and elites,...) sorry, but that is soooo annoying.

I have a higher end computer but it is not top of the range and it can run Halo 1024 resolution. Also, I prefer the PC version purely because it is easier to get into a bigger game rather than bringing over several XBOXes and linking then up, each with a Halo CD. Also, on the PC version, you get the flamethrower, banshees and the fuel rod beast weapon. Don't know if you get those on XBOX at all.
