Also, what means do you use to determine where geographically the game host is located? Wireshark and ip-adress.com?
Generally when I'm talking -blam!- after the game, I can tell by their accents.

That or I just know who's host by instinct aka Cain and Abel because I'm Aussie.

Take a step back with me and enjoy a taste of the bittersweet that is our current generation.

I enjoy Battlefield and Call of Duty, and Gears of War.

20 years old, manager of my family's business, aspiring officer of the law.

I love anything political.

lol what?

Aussies hardly ever get host.. All you foreigners do is call us bridgers (implying that we have to bridge for host), and then complain when we get host legit.

It is a rare occurance when there was an AU player who didn't pull host.

Yeah they always pull host when I play them. I don't know why they say they never get it.

The person who gets host is always the person that the game would be the most unplayable for. Which is great logic. Make the game playable for that one person at the expense of everyone else.

That is how it works.

So if there is one Australian in the game, or one Mexican, and the rest of the player are from NA, the minority will get host, invariably, because the game would be terrible for them otherwise.

I'm tired of listening to Australians -blam!- about this. Nice people, but they seem to have a sense of entitlement that goes beyond everyone else for some reason.

You live in a tropical paradise, you pull host over everyone else. -blam!- off.

I have had host maybe 5 times out of the 2000 or so games I've played, and I'm pretty sure the host changed after a minute or so in most of them.

I can guarantee you that we barely ever get host. You have probably played plenty of games with at least one aussie who was yellowbar, but you didn't check his nationality because your connection was fine. Then whenever you have a bad connection you check and notice the host is Aussie, so you have come to believe that whenever an Aussie is in the game they get host.

Trust me, it's not true. It's like people claiming that Mexicans always pull host. They don't, but whenever people get a bad connection playing with mexicans they assume they always do.

You're probably host-banned so you don't count. If you're host banned it doesn't matter where you're from, you're just not going to get host.

Every time I see someone with Australia in on their profile everyone but them is yellowbar.

I ALWAYS check the gamer profile when there is an anomaly like that.

8/10 it says either Australia or Mexico.

They like take national pride in how -blam!- their internet is.

Well like I said, if you were greenbar then you wouldn't bother checking to see if anyone in the game was a foreigner. You only do it when you're on a bad connection. You would have plenty of games with aussies where it was US/Canadian host.

Also if the aussie is host and you're all yellowbar, he would be yellowbar too.

Bull-blam!-, there were maybe 20 Aussies through halo 3 that pulled host constantly without bridging.
