I'm not loyal to either one. My loyalties are with good games. I don't stick around a specific developer waiting for their next title. Theres way too many good games from dozens of developers out now to play favortites.

This is my idea on the subject,
Damn, now i have to buy games from bungie and 343.

It's not just the games. It's the universe.

Many will enter, only one will rise to the top and he might not even win....

I'm "loyal" to both, but I'm more interested in Bungie's next title than the next Halo game.

Name's WIlliam,

For the love of God it's pronounced mister-shag, not misters-hag.

I can't really say who I'm more loyal to, as I haven't played anything else Bungie has made. I look forward to finding out what the next Halo project is and I look forward to finding out what Bungie's next project is.

This quote should be trademarked or something. Short, but so true.

equal, i want the new halo and the new bungie

  • 05.12.2011 5:15 PM PDT

Halo for me.

I like Bungie and will try out their new game but its not an automatic following for me.

I think the Microsoft ownership may have a case of 'executive override' with production and development choices when making Halo 3 and Reach more so.

It will be interesting to see what Bungie and Activision produce. However, I'm hoping 343i really get back to the hardcore Halo gameplay with individual skill rewarded more than team work.

I started up the heated debate on whether the SPARTAN-II in the cryo tube near the end of Reach is really Linda.
I created the Moa XING avatar pic.
Also I earned the All Star nameplate with this submission to Week 14 All Stars http://www.bungie.net/images/News/Inline11/bwu_0415/art/likea boss.jpg

Gonna have to wait for Bungie's next game to give you a good answer.

Tough choice...I'll always be loyal to bungie for making Halo, but I feel like they've disappointed the community with Reach. I'll continue to support bungie and buy their next game though. I'm also all for new halo games by 343.

Hard to pick one, I would say both. I love Bungie's style to develop the Mutilplayer which I fit it easily like fit the glove. Honestly I will buy Bungie's next game IF it also provide mutilplayer. I love the Halo series story since I was 14. I am hardcore of SPACE SCI-FCI such as Halo, Doctor Who, Star War (ok that's bit old school). I enjoy Halo story most. It would so interset to see future history like sci-fic story which that would actually happen.

I am loyal to both. I am dissapointed at Bungie because they teamed up with Activision, and Activision fouls all it touches. I just hope that Bungie gets to do the story, because if Activision does...

  • 05.13.2011 4:56 PM PDT

Well seeing that bungie created halo, bungie for sure

to be honest i think 343i will do a far better job than bungie due to the fact i don't think they will do what people want to do. They will do what is good for the halo story.

343i is going to do a great job, they've got Frank O'Conner

I am not loyal to anyone or anything. If Bungie makes a game I like then they make a game I like. If 343 make another good Halo then 343 make another good Halo, but in all truth I think Halo's time as a video game is over. (By this I mean that I don't really think that they should continue making sequels or prequels. Let's just play the Halo games we've already got and have fun with that. I don't want it to become another COD, and I never liked the FF series.)

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

I joined B.Net for Halo, not for Bungie.

I'm grateful they made such beautiful games, but the novels into the Halo Lore have sold me as well.

Bungie's neglect to fully capture the potential of Reach, has worried me about where they're loyalties lie. To the current fans who supported them for years, or to the potential fans (COD community /PS3 owners etc) who will abandon them for the next casual game in the market, just like they did BO.

While i admit, i do love the halo series. I haven't played anything from Bungie outside of halo. I did play a demo of marathon once, but quickly stopped.
I guess if i had to choose my choice would be Halo and 343i.
More than likely i would choose both. I am pretty excited to see what Bungie has in store for us.

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

I'm a Halo fan. Not a Bungie fan. Onward to 343i!

It's Hazard Time

Well, Bungie let me down when they did a quick cash out/hit and run with Reach, prior to that I would have said Bungie.

The Halo franchise is great, wonderful story so I got to stick with that one. Still, I won't be loyal to it to the degree that I'll buy a bad game (again).
I'm more loyal to Gearbox or Kaos really, they've made great games, visit the forums and listen to the gamers, not to mention they're cool guys too :)

Halo is more intrinsically interesting than Bungie.

  • 05.14.2011 7:12 PM PDT

Bungie. I rarely play Halo anymore, but play other Bungie games quite often. I've been eagerly awaiting the new IP since first completing Halo 2.

  • 05.14.2011 7:47 PM PDT

melee = life

Bungie. Halo, like somebody else said, is not my favorite Bungie series, Marathon is. I think that if Bungie remakes Marathon or makes a sequel, it would be the most unbelievably amazing game ever on shelves. It's possible- after all, Bungie renewed their copyright on Marathon recently, and I'm sure that the only reason that they say that Marathon and Halo aren't connected is to keep Microsoft from being able to make a copyright claim on Marathon.

As for the people who say loyal to Halo, you disappoint me. A lot.

That said, I think I will get the Halo remake, after all, 343 industries doesn't seem bad.
