Neither. Well actually, it depends on the level. But I would just do it on Normal. Do your favorite level on Legendary with a few skulls and the rest on Normal with several skulls.
Turn on Mythic when you attempt The Covenant. Those Elite Majors will be very helpful if you can keep them alive. Pick up one of the dropped weapons, stick an Elite with a spike grenade. He'll take out his sword. Swap weapons with him. Wait for him to put away his new weapon. Give him his sword back.
At Mission Start,
just bypass the beach fight. Snag a Ghost at the area overlooking the first tower and boost into it (like in those Mythic kamikaze videos). Don't pick up the Camo. Don't get rid of your Laser until I say you can. Jump onto the stacked supply cases, pick up the Power Drain, headshot the three Grunts on the other side, and go up on the elevator. When you come up, aim high, throw your power drain. If you did it correctly, both Brute bodyguards should be shieldless. Stick/plasma pistol overcharge the two Brutes coming to greet you, headshot the bodyguards in front of the glass screen, and assassinate the Chieftain. Make sure he has Invincibility. When you come down, use it and go through the Covies and wait at the Active Camo. When your Invincibility wears off, pick up the Camo and go to the Hornets.
At Rally Point Alpha,
after securing the third tower, give the War Chieftain's fuel rod gun to Arbiter. Don't stick the Elites yet since they won't produce any sword. If the War Chieftain dropped a Power Drain, use it on the Brutes that come out of the door. Or keep it for later.
Swap your Battle Rifle (or whatever sidearm you have) for the Fuel Rod Gun on the right side of the tower. To deal with the Drones, go to the left side of the tower, wait for them to assemble, and throw a frag grenade. If timed correctly, they should retreat. Remember that Laser I told you to save? Use it on the Hunters. On Legendary, it should be an instant kill. Even with Mythic AND Tilt turned on, the Laser will severely weaken them.
For the next part, if you still have your Elites, you can arm them with swords now. Go outside the tower after arming 2-3 Elites and return. You should get a checkpoint. Do this with the remaining Elites, go outside again, return inside, but jump (to delay it) to the right side of the tower. You should get a checkpoint. Boost yourself up into the terminal room with the fuel rod gun, step on the elevator, but don't activate it. Get off and rejoin your Elites. Watch your motion sensor. The Brutes should be coming towards you.
When you see red, you can either go inside, which will make them turn around (you can assassinate them one by one, but you have to wait for them to get to where they came from), or aumbush them with a Power Drain (if you didn't use it). Either way, if you have your Elites and they got swords, this will be easy.
To be continued.

Man am I glad I still remember my strategies. It's been a month since I came on here.
