I want the H2 BR, the Reach sniper, possibly the H1 melee, H3 grenade strength/radius, H3Beta tripmine, improved H3 ranking system with H2 level distribution, hybrid highest skill/cR ranking system, improved Forge (physics settings, more unique items, dynamic resizable items, more lighting options, more themes), more urban maps in MM (terminal, headlong), more armour customisation, more gametype customisation.. you get the idea.

Visual style similar to H3 but with a more dynamic scene lighting solution (especially useful for Forge maps), vibrant armour (glossy, almost plasticy with heavy baked AO maps similar to the H3Beta), clear open skies similar to H3 (see Standoff), HDR/bloom similar to H3, lighting like H3 and H1, strong emphasis on natural beauty in environments, improved blending of natural elements and manmade structures.. more stuff I can't remember right now. I've thought about this way too much, but I know it won't happen anyway. Hm.


how do you not want all that but not the halo ce pistol, or at least the reach pistol

Halo 3 with hitscan
Slight increase in Ar range
Slightly larger weapon sandbox
1-50 ranking system coupled with EXP progression and universal ranking which requires a highest skill on order to advance to the furthest rank.


I personally prefer no hitscan, why dont others?

I don't mean to double post, but I had to respond to this.

Hitscan is implemented because we want our shots to hit when we're shooting an enemy. We don't want a shot to be reliable on the strength of the host. Unless they went to dedicated servers, which they won't, they need to have hitscan. Halo 3's weapons like the BR and Sniper were highly inconsistent due to this.

I'm not. I'm honestly hoping they go for a Halo CE style approach to the campaign, and a Halo 2 for the Multiplayer.

I have a massive thread in the Bungie Universe forum on what we want for Halo 4.

But yeah, H3 was great. Build off of that. Equipment, cool jumps, fun.

Anything as long as Halo: Reach's forge stays. If there was one good thing that came out of it, it was forge.


Yeah the forge needs better colors though. Halo reachs forge is good but dull at the same time.
