First of all, if its a jump with that sort of momentum all you have to do is press the directional stick in the opposite way of where you're sliding to stop it from happening. Another thing, those sorts of jumps were on Halo 2 Xbox. Small examples of that are in the slide jumps on Lockout where you go from the back of the sniper tower to corner bridge that leads to the lift.
Saying that a game is more like another game just because of one thing is an awful argument. I mean seriously, that is insane. "Because the floors are a bit slicker its more like Halo 3/Reach." Okay, so, what about the fact it is that game with all its maps, weapons, and vehicles all at the exact same balances/places on the maps? What about how a good amount of the glitches are still in the game? Hell, even auto-aim is still in the game for people using a 360 controller.
