Bounty Hunter for life!

Should Halo 4 feature a cover based combat system(gears of war)? I think it would help as a last ditch defense while you are waiting for your shield to recharge.

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

Slow down there, kiddo. I think it's much too early in the development to bring up stuff like that.

Or you could just stand behind something. The only reason cover works in GoW is because the enemies are as dumb as the inanimate object you're crouching behind. A cover system in Halo would merely result in you getting smacked in the back of the head when an Elite flanks you.

A cover system akin to Rainbow Six: Vegas' one would be good. While that game is an affront to R6, I do love the cover system. Best I have ever used.

idk i feel like cover systems with 1st person shooters dont seem to work as well and tend to be not as useful especially when halo is known for having the ability to have such little cover. it would kind of take the halo feel away from the halo game. based around fast fire fights and the need for quick recoveries.

Yes I'm fairly young. No, that doesn't mean I'm automatically dumber than you or have less life experience, thats just generally the case. I am not your general case.

The Killzone one is also interesting as you are put in to cover while, read that again, while, still maintaining a first-person perspective.

Bungie Pentathlon - who actually cares ?

I believe some form of Pokemon turn based fighting system would work well. Levelling up your marines / spartans and giving them ribbons, berries and cigars.

Seriously though....I don't think a cover system would work - players don't need it for BFBC2, the producers of that game wanted to keep it fast paced, covering behind every rock/crate/pillar would only slow the game down....surely ?

we don't want gears or war, its halo for a reason. its not call of duty "well reach doesn't count" and not GoW its Halo you have to understand you can't just throw -blam!- into a game
