Subject: Just to think... a few more yards and Halo never would have happened..

When your pod crashes in Halo CE, you were but a few yards from falling off of the side of a large cliff which would have surely killed you.(Master Chief) Then none of this 'Halo' stuff would have happened... Just think about THAT!

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Haha. Yeah that would've been interesting. Although I'm sure Master Chief being Master Chief would've found some way to survive it.

I doubt another mile would do much against the Bumble-bee after it just fell for more than ten, but it would've made John's job a lot harder. He wouldn't be able to rescue the other crashed marines, probably resulting in their deaths, leaving the UNSC forces weakened, leaving John at even worse odds against the Covenant.

John has plenty of luck, though. That's probably what stopped him from careening off that cliff.

Difference, if the bumblebee went over the edge of the cliff, Chief would be dead.

He was KOed from that impact. If memory is right, at the base of the cliff was a lake. So the bumblebee could either land in the lake (Leaving him KO(and injured), maybe even dead due to impact. The he has 90 minutes to wake up, get out of the pod despite injuries, and get out of the lake. That is if his armor isn't breached.) or, hit the lakeedge. Most likely resulting in KO like the other, with a high chance of injury or death.

Chief wouldn't even had the chance to go to Halo were it not for Noble Six.

Noble 6 wouldn't have made it had Jorge, Carter, and Emile all died for his cause.

Then I guess we have Noble Team to thank. But if we really want to go back, if it wasn't for Halsey Chief would never exist. My brain hurts now.

Just think, it's a game!

But those were highly trained pilots, they died on impact, not before.

Yep, the bumblebee pilot died on impact, same as every marine in the pod. Chief was flung forward and got KOed.

If it wasn't for Halsey we wouldn't have Noble Team either since it was her research that made their creation possible :P
But yeah...don't want to take our thanks back too far your brain will implode from trying to comprehend it all.

I guess we have keyes to thank because he was halseys needed escort on the way to see master chief as a child.

I also guess we have to thank Samuel, john's best friend, who died saving his life.

We should also thank bungie, and all the writers, especially eric nylund.

No, we have the Committee to thank, for putting the precedent for militarization of the UNSC.

RED BRICK STUDIOS!

We should probably look to to the original program, ORION.

They're called the Assembly, and I believe them to be the true main antagonists of the series.

So that creates quite the irony!

So in theory we could blame the pilot for being rubbish - if she had guided the pod into a sound position the UNSC would have had more troops and an un-concussed MC ready to slug it out.

(joking)

Bobcast is paid in MILF blind dates.

Just think, if Horn of Plenty didn't have a fail slipspace drive the Human-Covenant war would have never happened.

Just think, if Dr Emmett Brown hadn't fallen off his toilet and smashed his head on a sink we wouldn't have the flux capacitor or Dr Fusion.

Now just think, if the remote detonator hadn't gotten fried, jorge would have lived. if jorge had lived, then maybe he and his better experience and combat knowlege (being a spartan II) could have saved most if not all of noble team from their demise.

Meaning noble team could have made it onto the Pillar of Autumn.

Meaning the chief would be teamed up with a squad of spartans in Halo CE.

And lets go forward.

Delta Halo would of been fired if it hadn't been for Johnson and Arbiter.

Edit- and Keyes and the Scarab and the zealots aiding arbitor
etc etc
