I had to memorize a sonnet for class after I found a halo sonnet by Slaker117, I asked my teacher if I could get extra credit if I wrote my own sonnet. Being in a gate class with a bunch of under achievers he said yes. So here it is.
(I did end up memorizing Slaker's poem it wasn't done in enough time)

Halo: Reach
There were many Spartans in the world
Then the Covenant came and killed all but one,
Now 117's story will be unfurled
But the past has past, and cannot be undone

It started here at reach
The Covenant appeared in their ship
With just a tiny breach
The fleet invaded with their mother ship

The aliens jumped out guns blazing,
Which took the humans by surprise
Off their armor the bullets were grazing
Yet in the ashes one "lucky" Spartan will rise

While valiant Spartans fell
117 was put in a cryo cell.

I think it would have been better if you stuck to the Shakepearian style of iambic pentameter, after all you chose to write a Shakeperian sonnet.

I was addicted to Halo CE and Halo 2 for a long time. I went through a RECOVERY and stopped playing. I then went through a RELAPSE and was hooked once again. I stopped playing since Halo:Reach did not live up to be greater than Halo 3, but now I have gone through a RE-UP and again I game on Reach. Like this? Demand an ENCORE.
:O

(ending of sonnet)
and don't you ever forget
halo 3's the best, Reach is just s**t

meh is right but ironicly thats how they are sopose to sound rhyme with every other line but if you read it over and over it starts to sound better
