I was wondering, is there going to be a thread search or no? I would just like a few snippet of any updates or plans with it.

I hate to say it, but hasn't Bungie been saying that since the New Hotness was launched and everyone first started clamoring for a Search funcion? Do they even bother to try to keep our hopes up on that one?

I find it interesting that with a Search function being about the most basic need for a popular forum, it never has been implemented. You'd think they'd program that in just after they write the code for the "Subject:" and "Body:" textboxes and just before they write the code for allowing people to create Signatures. It's obvious to probably just about everyone that having a Search feature would cut a huge chunk out of traffic here (at least one--or in this case two in a row--post[s] per day ask for a Search) and would solve a bunch of problems for regular posters and Moderators alike. Yet it doesn't exist.

But hey, I'm sure I'm just repeating what's been said a thousand times before, so I'll shut up now.

Just my incomprehension,
Poocho :)

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Same BS answer they always give

Hmm

Id like more of an explantion.

It's not BS. It's clever. Soon could mean anywhere from one month to one year- it's all up to the observer. Therefore, Achronos' soon could be in December of 06, while our soon is in the next 10 minutes.

And Achronos has given explanations. However, we need a search function to find them. It's a Catch 22 =(

I'm not that active, but never dead.

I'm sure that by now they could have had a search feature, but it wouldn't be any better than using google.

I'm sure that the Bungie search feature will be well implemented and very advanced well easy to use.

I can live without the search feature; what I'm really anxious for is that blasted karma system.

I have a feeling we will get it before they announce their next project. Which is soon, and most likely going to be at E3. So the Search Feature is coming before E3 and thats Soon™!

That is good. E3 would be a logical place to announce the ultra secret new project.
