So that means you're getting Halo 4, right?
Funnily enough that's possible. Since it will be on Microsoft servers (my assumption) I'll have access to grab them by the tonsils and pull if I so desire. Bungie is proudly embracing the lamest of lame game snob attitudes which will be harmful to their bottom line. On the other hand, I may make yet another call to Microsoft and cancel all my Live accounts and get rid of Xbox entirely out of my sense of righteous indignation. As small a deal as it may seem, this really has got under my skin.
Anyway, the Live person I spoke to was sympathetic and agreed (admittedly without directly saying it) that Bungie's approach is unjust at best. I think I may write Bungie a strongly worded letter; that'll show 'em!
I do sit here wondering why anyone would want to keep kids off their console and account? Microsoft's method of making gamertag mobility such an archaic operation nearly dictates that I have multiple accounts for my different boxes, and 'we' use them in part interchangeably. Is this against their rules? (I don't really care of course, I'll set the rules, thanks - I don't mod, or cheat, I pay for what I use - if I suck at the game so bad Bungie has a problem with it I'll at minimum stop flowing money their way). I've been known to 'go to war' for less an affront than this; it's probably a character flaw this out of balance sense of justice.
