I love how you go and write a one senate response when you know you're wrong. It's pretty funny actually, keep going. I consider a true fan someone who has played Halo before the huge overhype of Halo 3.

Fandom is relativeMy definition is my definition, yours can be different than mine, and the next person's.
To me, a real fan is more into the story of Halo and the books than broken game mechanics. Many people believe concepts like AA or Bloom detract from what makes Halo, Halo. However, in reality, factions like the Covenant, the Flood, the Forerunners, and the UNSC are what make Halo, Halo.
Reach delivered a great campaign and also got me into reading more about the Halo universe, while for a lot people Halo 2 seems to be better because it was just mindless multi-player fun.
