I thought the first one was better because it was longer, you didn't have to worry about Mona, and shooting folks for revenge is a lot cooler than shooting folks for love. Oh yea, and in the first one you actually had to bulletdodge from cover to cover, but in Max Payne 2 threre's no tactics involved; you just activate slo-mo and the game becomes a cakewalk.
Still a damn good game, though. One of the best third-person shooters ever.
