ROFL!!

Oh man I posted this thread out of anger but seeing all the replies Especially from the moderators. Way to go Jim and TGP for haveing the balls to join a group that has declared to be your mortal enemies. Anyways yeah their idiots, yeah they tick a bunch of people off. but I now declare it to be good therapy to point and laugh at their self inflicted expense.

I guess the moral of this story is....
Nobody likes a HATER!!!!

Why do I feel like this "publicity" will only help the group?

It's a private group, if it gets publicity, then fine. I would rather them yell "I hate -[insert Moderator name here]-," in a private group, rather than in the public forums.

I agree with that to a point, but it grows...

Well we should "spam" their group because we don't like them. That's not a very good message. I just joined because I wanted to see what was going on, heh.

Good point. I am guilty of that too. Well time to just leave them alone and let it fade out.

Those were just the amateur trolls. The better ones are probably more sophisticated than to start a group in bungie with that name. Thank God for stupid trolls. Maybe sunlight kills them.

So what we do, as mature members, is join there group, make fun of them, post in there guest book nonsense, and laugh at there stupidity while calling them trolls. hmm... Ironic.

I can give them a reason to hate moderators, if they would really like one.

I'll let Achronos make the call, but I may just blacklist everyone in the group.

Idiots.

So you're going to ban people just for talking about you behind your back in a private forum? If they spam, then cool. But they're obviously just sad nerds to make a group who's sole purpose is talking about how much they hate the Moderators.

You really are a sad person if you mean that.

Errrr...doing that would be immature, not mature. Joining...ok. Not liking the group (and the members)...ok. Spamming the group...not ok.

Considering that it is a private group, and they aren't really causing problems, I see no reason why everyone should go and spam their forum. After all, think of what happens if they decide to return the favor. We would have a full-blown war on the public forums just because a few members (and moderators) decided to make fun of a group. I don't think Achronos would be happy if he had to start moderating the forums so that he could issue IP bans in order to stop a stupid war.

This is the real reason why I hate those kind of groups. Not the fact that the idea is stupid, but because of the actions of others in response to them. It just happened recently in one of the groups I was a former member of. Someone who had caused trouble on the public forums was kicked out, so he made an anti-group. Immediately the members of the group went over to spam and started to send nasty PMs.

So who is mature: The person who makes the group but causes no trouble, or the people who go over and spam the group simply because they don't like it?

What you just said, I was saying in my Sarcasm... Sure its a joke mods joining there group and all, but no need to post in there group.

I did find it a bit odd you said mature...so I had a sneaking suspicion it was sarcasm.

Nonetheless, can you agree that the way people are reacting to this is not the way people should be reacting?

After all, we should be ignoring the members and moving on. Instead we are spamming their forums just so we can feel that we are better than they are.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

But, why are we spamming their forum? Have they not the right to a chapter(assuming Achronos lets it stay)? Just cause they're stupid, doesn't mean they deserve to be T3h 5p4mz0r3d!!!11111!!11

Nay. It makes me sick to see people find something that shouldn't concern them and turn it into a large deal. People always forget about the "Ignore" and "No Reply" buttons. A group appears, and people attack it. Laughing at someone for doing something stupid is one thing, but attacking them for that something is completely different.

In the end, who is better: Us or them?

I say neither.

But you do know that what happened in the group I did not take part in any of it. I agree that half the time it was the most idiotic stuff created. The people have constantly beated the dead horse in that group, but now we're taking a strict measure towards any of the inappropriate threads created.

The funniest thing I found in that group was how shorty completely went off. Seriously, it looked like she was having a nervous breakdown.

There are no rules in the rules thread, so we followed the rules. It isn't spam. It feels good to have a place to brown nose the mods anyway.
