Buck's squad was actually good. You got a bit of character development, and a good story to throw in. Heck, ODST was the true "boots in the mud" game that Bungie made. I could connect to all characters on some level, and each had unique personalities, and their emotions felt real.
Noble was boring, and had little to no character development. Cardboard cut-outs.
Once you think about it, ODST was the true "Human" story. The true "boots in the mud" story.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, Buck's squad felt real. Noble were throw-aways. They were meant to die in a short span of time so weren't given any development what-so-ever. Cardboard cut-outs.
