This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

...

ANOTHER ONE?

This is worse then the h2 forum.

Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

pc is still alive... for now.
eventually there will be a time when only 40+ players go online then the game might shut down :(

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

That time has been around for the past 3 or so years.

And speaking of being around for a really long time, the same can be said for these threads you keep necromancing. Stop. Please.

OP may not be around anymore but heres something for those passing by that may not know:

Actually, both Halo1 and 2 can still be played online for the xbox, just not using Xbox Live. There are programs called xbconnect and xlink kai that basically make it as if your console is performing a system link with another xbox, when in reality it's just connected to your computer.

Download one of the programs (one or both) from their sites and make a login account. Turn on your system, load up the game and select System Link. Keep your screen on the "looking for consoles" (not sure if that's the exact message)part. Through either program you look for servers/rooms you want to join, then when you're in one and the host sets up the game, you should see yourself in a game lobby on your tv.

Sounds more complicated than it is.

Not many Halo 1 games are being played on these programs anymore (these programs were used to play Halo 1 online even during the original xbox's run due to no Live capability), but there are still a bunch of Halo 2 games frequently going on.
