I think the Heksould have had its own map editor like Unreal tournament and RUNE hade. (and lots of gamez) Im a poor guy right now because of me investing so much into m y new comp that I dont have the $$ to buy that map editor or any one so i can edit maps. .I still like the fact the HEK has so RELY usefull tools but It dosent have its own map editor how sad.. I think every one should get to edit.. Well Im going to download the 30 day trial of that 3d map editor thing I seen in the hex toatoryl. and coufgh Up 2 maps for my clan and submit em to levils 4 you or some place. one of my ideas is defntly something no one has though of and Ive wanted to do for a long time.

First, it's "HEK," as in "Halo Editing Kit."

Second, Gearbox didn't build these tools, they modified the tools that were given to them for use among the public. There's no stand alone map editor because Bungie didn't use a standalone map editor.

It's a good thing that they used industry standards. Makes it more flexible for everyone.

It's a bad thing it wasn't included in HEK. I wanted to mod right out of the package, not fish around for more tools.
