Ahh it's you. Been a while hasn't it? We WILL finish this.

Just you wait.

Holy -blam!- it took me four days to beat it. And thing is, each of those days I've been playing for like eight hours each. And I was only playing on heroic!! But at least they give you an interesting stoty to enjoy. My favorite was when you kill that -blam!- regret. And also it had the best soundtrack out of all the entire series. No other halo game did better in soundtrack.

But as good as it was I hated facing flood and brutes. Seriously it doesn't make a bit if sense how I slash a brute with an energy sword three times and he's still standing and i know in books or canon that they would be cut in half with one slash. So that part is kinda stupid. And the flood is too overpowered. What the hell seriously I like to punch my enemies in the face when they get too close but with the flood. That's impossible. But that's just a small problem overall the game is great.

Hmm, I didn't think you could melee the Flood in this game, or at least it's way less effective in Halo: CE and Halo 2 than in Halo 3.

But yes, this is definitely the longest campaign in terms of levels, and probably time as well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there were 10 missions in CE, 13 in Halo 2 (15 if you count the cutscene & the other level at the beginning), and 9 in Halo 3. Can't remember off the top of my head, but I think ODST and Reach were around 10 missions.

Heh, at least you had a good time and that's what it's all about. If the fun meter is up, it's a good game.

To the question on melee:
You cannot kill a flood with melee, just whack 'em around.

I agree, It could take 4 days (if you kill all enemies and haven't done it before) to get through a level on legendary and I'd still be having fun.

Although I think it is slightly more fun to beat it on all skill levels in order if you have alot of time. Which is like never but I might attempt this in a while (I did it in CE, not H2 yet which I beat on normal heroic and legendary but not easy yet lol).

Tu Madre

Halo 2 has more campain missions but I think Halo CE's levels are much longer, and harder. It took my friend and I about 7hrs to beat Halo 2 on Heroic, and it took us about a day and a half to finish Halo CE

Actually, meleeing the flood does exactly 10% a normal melee's damage

Never heard of that, where did you get the info?

For Carnage Apply Within - We played Marathon before Marathon was cool!

Keep it authentic...

Myth 2's campaign has 25 levels.

This is a Reach account that I created the day they announced his name in a bnet weekly update. Any stats regarding ODST or Halo 3 are irrelevant. Also, Halo CE master race. Halo 1 > other halo games > other games.

Account Status: Silver :(

I could beat all of them in a day each. The hardest (not longest) for me in Solo is ODST. I remember I spent a long time fighting hunters I could just run past though LOL. For some reason everyone says it's the easiest. Halo 3 is pretty easy (but a decent length) except Cortona, and Reach to me seems to by by far the easiest, but I don't know. Everyone has their own strengths I guess.

Halo 2 is a good length though, but legendary is not that hard unless you use skulls (which I did not - I'm lazy). I beat it in one day a long time ago, but I had already done it in Co-op legendary just before when the game first launched so that probably helped.

You can't go by number of levels. I think most people would agree Reach is the easiest of all the campaigns. I think they nurfed it for that solo achievement so noobs could get it. I think I already posted this here, but I think ODST is pretty hard at times, but the levels are short and you can bypass some major fights, too. Number of levels means nothing.
