The ie 7 preview 2 is out. Play with it and play with it some more. This preview actually seems pretty good to me. Pages do seem to load a bit faster and it has tabs. Plus I noticed it uses less memory than IE 6 and far less than firefox. The interface is sorta wacky but you get used to it. Also please remember that this is a preview. Actually it's a preview of a beta product. Heh. It's fun though.

"far less than firefox"

Don't care, it's using 25mb according to my task manager, that's nothing in my 2gb of ram.

IE can -blam!- off, IE6 was -blam!-, and while Firefox has a near final version of the next release done, IE is still tossing about with preview of a non-existant beta.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Easy elmicker, IE isn't that bad. I really don't like FireFox, but that's just me I guess.
I'll have to try that out, thanks stosh.

So what is better, firefox or IE? I have both and I think Firefox is better but if IE 7 is better, then I will obviously be getting that instead.

Heh, I just opened my task manager, and it says i'm at 99% computer usage, I got Firefox running, Netscape running, IE running, like 5 other programs running.

So i'm going to be getting this update since I use almost all the browsers at once, since different browsers work better with different sites.

I had the original beta for a while. It's great, and my favourite browser thus far, but make sure your PCs are fully secured before usage. Any viruses can really screw a system with IE 7 over.

Hmm i might just try that once i get my own pc running. Just went throught the tour and it's looking very nice. Love the 'quick tabs' feature.

A browser for me is just a tool. I'm going to use the one that works best for ME. I don't care who made it or how evil they are. I think ie 7 will be my browser soon, but for now I'm still going to use opera. I have over 2 gigs of ram too, but even that is not enough for me. I'm always running out because of the apps I use at the same time...photoshop, director, flash...etc...

Well well, I might trade in the ol' Firefox for this. I have disgustingly low amounts of RAM, so this might be better.

Ive always used IE and always will, im to lazy to change it. I was curious about that browser called mozzilla (not sure how its spelled), but like i said, I'm to lazy to change to it.

Does anyone know if mozilla (tries another spelling) works well or not?

It works great, and takes about 3 minutes to download. Pretty safe, too.

After a few runs with it, I do like this a lot better but firefox still has some option I wish I had over here. But at least I can use IE to browse Bungie.net without going insane!

Do you know whether IE 7 will integrate more CSS compatibility?

Its a definitly differnent than IE 6 I like it how you can view all your windows in tabs at the top instead of at the bottom as different programs. Also the button besides the tabs lets you view all you windows at once which is a cool feature. Also it still runswell while you use photoshop and macromedia at the same time so that is good.

Well what I want to know is how good is it going to be for CSS implementation and other Web design features?

AOL Explorer is actually a lot like this, but with more features. Both are good. I don't like the interface however on IE7. I wonder if you can customize it?

Gimpy, don't be an idiot. Comparing the wiimote to the power glove is like comparing sex to dieing.

This is pretty sweet.

Although, the font seems to be boldfaced. Is this normal, or can I change it back to normal?

Well, it let my computer play flash videos again, so.....I LOVE IT!

But really, there doesn't seem to be too much different with it. Except the font. The most noticeable improvement I can see is the new tab setting. But that is hardly an innovative feature.
