..and whenever I go to click "submit," it says that the text has extended characters that are not allowed...

I have no curse words in the story, and I've seen people post theirs before, but why can't I do mine?

Thanks in advance!

Seriously, though, can I get an answer?

"Find where the liar hides, so that I may place my boot between his gums!" - Rtas 'Vadum

If you are using a word document then it will most likely contain characters that are not supported by Bungie.net.

Copy and paste your text into here. This will replace unsupported characters with supported ones.

Then copy and paste from that to Bungie.net and everything should work fine.

If you do not want to use an external site then there is also a posting tools script developed by Duardo that will do all that with the click of a button in the post to forum window. For Chrome or Firefox. It is called Posting Tools 4.4.1.

Thank you!

But what does it mean that there are not supported characters in the document?

I'm not entirely sure how explain it, but the word document will use encoding for specific characters that Bungie.net cannot recognise.

lol, I really do not know to be honest, but it is something along those lines. I only know how to deal with the problem, I don't know what causes it. Ask in the scripting thread if you really want to know though. ;)

And it has got nothing to with characters meaning John, Cortana, Rtas etc, not that type of character, in case you are wondering... :/

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

If you are trying to post your fan fiction do so in Gallery Forum. That is exactly what that forum is for.

Also site related questions like this go in the Community Forum.

To answer your question plug your text into this site and then copy paste the output into your post. CAVX what a guy.

EDIT: Well you already knew the right forums so most of my post is irrelevant but I'll leave it there anyway.
