Subject: Fileshare Ban

I just tried to upload a game video to my fileshare and it said my name was banned. I've never used fileshare before (or these forums for that matter), so what exactly has happened? I tried to contact Xbox Live, and they said this was a Bungie thing. I don't know how to contact them here (something about not having the email client or something). So was my name banned? Was it deemed offensive for some reason? If I pay for a name change will that take care of it? I really don't want to start a brand new character, since this has been my gamer name for over 10 years.

Yes changing your tag will fix the problem. Bungie blocks certain tags from being able to use fileshare (I don't know why, its just stupid). I suggest PMing one of the admins asking if they can remove the name ban.

Awesome, thanks. And just to show how much of a noob I am at this stuff (lol), what is PMing, and how do I do it. LOL. I swear, I'm not joking. I'm just an obvious idiot. Don't tell my kids, they'll use my stupidity against me.

Private messaging, click on someone's profile and click "send message" to send a person a message. He suggested you should send a message to an admin, which you can find Here
