That was good. I loved the part where the stuff was popping out of the ground with the Elite. The last part of the trailer reminded me of the Tron trailer.

Great job man. Just posted about it in the reach boards. This will get front page ...if it kills me!

This does not belong on the Reach forum, that's why I posted it here.

And comparing it to RvB didn't help either. You redirected a group of flamers to the film, who then Disliked it without watching it.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I really loved this.

Really awesome! There are so many good points that I won't bother elaborating on them, so unfortunately the theme of this post will feel quite negative, but I assure you I loved the machinima.

However, I felt it moved too quickly; there was so much room for tension and a more complex and exciting plot. Whilst I liked the ending (the unanswered question of what happened to Sam and Hayden) I felt that there could have been much more elaboration on the presence of the Elites.

Once again I have to say that it was one of, if not the, best quality machinimas I have seen!

If you want more tension and story, check out his other machinima called Tempus Maximus.

Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Roraj, I totally understand what you mean. I myself also would have like to go much deeper in the story, perhaps starting at like, the initial discovery of the place, then having text say "10 years later" and have the story pick up where I did and stuff.

The problem is, I hadn't intended this to be a big film, at all. It was supposed to be a "short", even shorter than Tempus Maximus. I really just wanted to have some fun in Forge World making machinima, but I realized I was going to have to explain a lot about the story.

Also, I just posted this on the Bungie Blog, now I'm praying that they will see it and accept it!

Hmmmm, Oh, hello!

I saw this and it's goes on number 2 with the "best machinimas I have ever seen" next to "The Forgotten Spartans" good job Arbiter and best of luck on the Bungie blog thing.

no u

I thought it was great! But for the trailer you should made it end like this.

"What happens when things get out of control"-Scene happens-
Project middleground-"We will just have to find out"-Coming soon.

Trailer: 10/10

PROJECT Middleground: 9/10

Am I supposed to write something funny here?

It was great, but the end was like WTF! Guy just goes in, blows the place up, kills aliens, and then apparently himself, and nothing gets explained. Motives of the elites, where they are at the end and stuff. I thought there was going to be some connection with elites and "illegal accessing" as said by the intendent.

So everything but the end was great, but the end kinda ruined it.

Yes I'm fairly young. No, that doesn't mean I'm automatically dumber than you or have less life experience, thats just generally the case. I am not your general case.

MIDDELGROUND is amazing!
