Best solution, make teams of 8 play teams of 8. Oh wait, this game blows and it's a rare case you can even find a group of more then 4 playing together you'd never get a matchup.

If you're worried about (doing to well) lol, then break your team of 8 up and go playing BTB in groups of 4. You might even play your other set to make some good games.

The problem is the game itself. I don't play the game that much, 1-5 games maybe a day just to burn some late night time. I always play solo because none of my friends play this -blam!- game.

Trust me teams of 8 get matched up agaisnt other teams of 8 quite alot. If I see another group of friends in a party of 8 searching at the same time we are we will almost always get them. Its all the randoms fault who go into a team of 8 playlist with 1-3 people. Get some more friends and then go into btb or stop complaining and quitting.

lol @ this 'get some friends' bull-blam!- that fools continue to spew. We have friends. Maybe not all of them are playing Halo: Reach 24/7 like you and I?

I've probably dashboarded/quit from 75% of my games tonight, and I could be here the rest of the night explaining why. But to sum it up, no I don't want to play against a party of 7+ THREE TIMES In A ROW when I'm searching in BTB alone, and no, I'm not staying in a game of SWAT where my headshots make dudes twitch, while there headshots leave me dead.

343 redesigning the quit system is probably the tip of the iceberg regarding the -blam!- this game needs fixed.

Lol dont search BTB alone then. Its a team playlist fool.

Do not play halo much anymore. Barely ever come on here.

This is the biggest problem with Reach besides bloom.

Reach fails as a game.

Get jealous.

Afk'ing is NOT ruining my game and if it was its Bungies own fault for rewarding people doing nothing.
More kills and credits for me, a distraction for my enemies/ someone else for them to go after.
I like people like the OP, they actually have sense.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

Let me summarize the OP.

"I play on a team of 8 try-hards who kick ass at this game.
When we play BTB against a bunch of random solo noobs who don't communicate with each other and completely start raping them within the first couple of the minutes of the game. They for some reason leave on us."

"How dare those noobs take it upon themselves to do what tru-skill couldn't. I think that those people who dared to press the matchmaking button and unfortunately get matched up against me and my team of -blam!-s, should be banned."

"I don't care that this matchmaking service a.k.a 'One-armed-bandit' is a pile of -blam!- that is solely respsonsible for quitters throughout. I'd rather blame them because they suck and I don't."

"You're not allowed to play Halo unless you can compete against me and my team of -blam!-s. Who's sole purpose in life is to stack the odds in our favor. Because we KNOW...90% of the people we play against are not going to be a fully decked team such as ours."

Welcome to the internet.
Continue down your path and you will chase away all the noobs that you so dearly love to shoot at. And then you'll be in here -blam!-ing about why it takes forever to find a game anymore. Well....WAKE UP!

I seriously doubt Halo was originally intended to be played only by elitest MLG pricks.

-blam!- YOU OP!

Try harder.

Nah, I only try when I go solo. But I've been full partying it these days, so I really don't have to much.

Do you live in this forum? I come here every once in a while just to shoot down -blam!-es who cry about quitters.

But damn.
It's like literally, no matter what time of the day Within seconds, it's either you, con, or one of the many other alts you people post with.

  • 11.24.2011 10:06 AM PDT

I only have one alt, and I rarely use it.

Almost forgot to summarize this part

"I prefer the noobs AFK instead of quit. Because if they AFK I can continue to shoot at a non-moving target and feel good about myself when I kill them. I only care about my stats, and AFK's pad my stats on a silver platter."

Yeah the opinions of warrants officers dont count.

Good players should be allowed to team up without every dam random ruining there games.

Losing credits is a great idea. i just want lees people ruing everyones games.
Im not a quitter but on a scale of 1-10 of how much I care about playing barbie dress up adventure with my spartan its probably a -8. I honestly dont care what my spartan looks like which makes reach entirely pointless to me considering there is no facet of this game that is in any way shape or form competitive. So in essence losing cR wont help at all.

maybe put btb for parties or a ranked playlists.otherwise, do something like on cod if u die a lot u spawn with a better perk somethin like that. so if they die like 10 times without gettin a kill they get better loadouts something like that

Thats actually not such a bad idea. Would help keep the badly losing team in games, give them some sort of hope and keep things more intense for the team that is slaughtering.
Some people may think im a full party spawn killing sob or whatever but really id prefer more competitive games where I still do good and we still win :)

Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny
~Emerson, Ralph Waldo

let me ask you this OP..If you played a game of BTB against a party of 8 amd you got destroyed, would you stay in the game? and just let the other team farm kills off you?

  • 12.03.2011 12:29 AM PDT

".....and my personal favorite, You Just Got Sarged."

RVB :Sarge

Let me simplify this one:

The Op is angry that his fully organized team can't farm and spawn destroy randoms who payed 60$ for the game. 50$ for Xbox live, and play to have fun. We've all been on the receiving end of a raping, it's not fun, at all. If you care about your kill to death ratio, it's a nightmare scenario. I payed for this game, and if I'm not having fun, I can leave and find a more enjoyable one.

From the perspective of a CONSUMER you CAN NOT deny me this right. Even in the Xbox live terms and conditions it doesn't say anything about having to stay in a multi-player game you don't want to be in.

Another thing, often times the scenario comes up that my team quits on me, rather then me initiating the quit. Does anyone honestly expect to stay in a game where its 2 vs 8 or worse?

original poster..surely everyone has the right to quit whould they accept the consiquences, stop crying, and if its to hard for you just quit aswell or deal with it

Ooh, I love those people, the ones who decide to throw everything and the kitchen sink at you, as if an M16 does anything to a T-90. Oh, MLG player with noobtube instead? Congrats! You blew off one of my ablative plates!

There is basicly no punishment for quitting multiplayer games (wow 15 minutes is nothing) and they constantly ruin my games, my teammates games and the games of the people left on the other team and thats alot of people as I usually play BTB with a full party of 8 high ranked players. We destroy and they always quit. Games turn into hide and seek and chasey with 8 on 2 which ruins our game and the poor bastards that dont quit. Not as bad if its flag or bomb as we can end it quickly but games of slayer when we have like 30 kills, 10 minutes left and 2 people who wont quit no matter how bad we spawn kill them. This is not fun for us or them.
Yep, you just want to spawn kill, when you can't, you end the game if it is objective and otherwise you just spawn kill, you want a harsher punishment so less people quit, meaning more to spawn kill.
