Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

This is a example of whats happening in my FF, Halo: Monster. I based the Elite's armor off two concept designs for the Arbiter from Halo Wars; the armor is more or less NOT original. It belongs to Bungie and Ensemble Studios.

This is not a final design. It would help if someone edited it and revised it, thank you.

UNSC Outpost Alpha, Planet Kudus Prime, Kudus System

Sgt. Major Dale Hathaway fired at the oncoming horde of Grunts and Jackals. Next to him, were the last 20 soldiers of his entire battalion - dead at the hands of the Covenant; rage and adrenaline pumped through Dale's veins, causing him to fire faster and harder if possible.

"They just keep coming!" shouted the marine to Dale's left. Dale knew the Corporal was right, but he couldn't afford to lower morale.

"Then we'll keep shooting!" Dale shouted.

Dale's MA5 went click. "-blam!-!" Dale cussed. He ducked behind the barricade and looked around for more ammo... there was one left. He snatched it, slammed it into his assault rifle, and came back up. "Last mag, I've gotta make it count!" Dale began firing short bursts, taking out the Jackals first so the rest can hopefully mop up the Grunts.

When it seemed like Dale and his team was going to make it, it all went to hell. Half-dozen blue orbs raced down toward the marines. Dale looked up and ordered, "Plasma grenades! Hit the deck!" Too late. The plasma grenades detonated, sending Dale flying.

He landed five meters away, face first into the dirt. He could barely see and before he could even grasp a thought, he blacked out.

Dale's eyes opened to see five of his marines on their knees, hands behind their heads. A Jackal, larger than the others, began executing them with a Plasma Pistol. Each of his men fell one by one, before Dale noticed what was around him.

He was surrounded by a dozen Grunts and normal-sized Jackals, but none of them looked aggressive.

That is, before a Jackal picked up Dale by his neck and began barking in Covenant. Dale didn't know a clue what it was saying, but he did comprehend his holder was in dialogue with several other Grunts and Jackals, and it looked like the bird-like aliens were about to pound on the Grunts after some words, completely forgetting about Dale. That was before an Elite entered the scene; once-bickering aliens fell back into line in response. Fear gripped Dale as the Elite moved closer.

The Elite was absolutely huge, it had to be nine feet tall at the least. And its pitch-black armor made it look more like a tank than a soldier... it was completely sealed in armor.

The Elite's armor reminded Dale of many things, one of them was the torso armor. It covered the Elite's shoulders, chest, and perhaps its upper back. Dale believed it was a pixane. But that wasn't all... its right shoulder plate was oversized, inscribed with a Covenant character. The left shoulder was a triple-spiked pauldron. Down both of the Elite's arms were edged vambraces which eventually ended in clawed gauntlets. Then, the Elite's legs were protected by a series of overlapping plates. Smaller plates overlapped each other as they descended down the Elite's feet, ending in two large talons each - giving it a raptor-like appearance. Anything that wasn't mentioned was covered in a Covenant mesh.

But the most disturbing part, this juggernaut of an Elite somewhat reminded him of a Spartan, but dark and evil.

The helmet was another thing; a large plate covered most of the upper head and drooped down, which would protect the origin of the Elite's mandibles. Then, several slim edged plates came down from the bottom of the helmet plate, giving the Elite a skeletal mask covering its eyes and the rest of its mouth. Finally, two separate glass-like portholes covered both of the Elite's eyes.

The Elite leaned over Dale now, the "eyes" glowing with a dark violet color. The mask retracted into the helmet. Dale wished it didn't, for what he was seeing was far worse. Its eyes were black and unforgiving much like a predator and its teeth had to be razor sharp - Dale didn't want to test that.

"So, are you all that is left?" the Elite's voice chilled Dale to the bone, sounding like a cross between a dragon and machine. "Pity. I haven't truly demonstrated my power. But despite all these glitters, I am not without honor," the Elite drew an Energy Sword handle from its thigh and ignited it. "For all your suffering and pain, you'll be given a quick death."

The Elite rose up its sword and came down with unnatural speed, severing Dale's head from his body in a moment's notice.

Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

Question: what title should the Elite have. He's not the Arbiter. Come up with something original.

Good work. Keep writing, and nice description of the Elite. Just looking at it seems painful!

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

Good stuff. I'm trying to think of a name, but I can't...

Would the Elite hold a special rank, like the Arbiter? Or is he part of a Special Operations team or something?

This is brilliant. It's a shame Dale had to die, but I guess any way of getting him out of that intractable situation would have been a bit of a deus ex machina. Keep on writing!
