Entry One: Spartan Team Kilo
Spartan Team Kilo was comprimised of six members including: Commander Buck B-202, Lieutenant Commander Caleb B-459, Chief Warrant Officer Quinn B-173, Warrant Officer Samuel B-028, Warrant Officer Phillip B-099, and Warrant Officer Jesse B-102. The team was deployed directly after training in 2544, just before the rest of beta company was killed during Operation: TORPEDO, and on their first mission to Miridem they lost Jesse B-102 to a team of Elite Majors that had just captured Dr. Catherine Halsey.

After a series of successful missions in the following two years, January 15, 2547 was their downfall. The Spartans were deployed on Skopje, one of the few remaining outer colonies still living under UEG rule. They were deployed with Orbital Drop Shock Troopers in SOEIVs just outside the Meriwether Castle located just outside the recently glassed capital city. Buck and Caleb, armed with a SPARTAN laser and sniper rifle, were on a ridge picking off Covy troops as they entered the fortress. Phil, Sam, and Quinn had been assaulting a Covenant partol nearby when it happened. Sam shouted for help over the TEAMCOM but was too late.

Spirit dropships were trailing behind them. Buck fired his laser into one of the three Spirit's cockpit, taking it to the ground below. As his laser cooled off and the other Spartans approached, one Spirit dropped off a Hunter pair and two squads of Grunts. Caleb started taking down Grunts with his sniper and Buck slid down the cliff to help the others. Two incoming Bashee aircraft started firing on the team as they ran towards the Commander. Quinn shot one down with his rockets just as the other unleashed a bomb on Sam. Sam's legs were blown completely off and Phil and Quinn dragged him to cover. Caleb dismantled the other Banshee with a single sniper shot.

The Hunters attcked the team and Caleb was out of sniper ammo. Sam was finished, so Quinn set his mind to the charging Hunters. He let a rocket fly into the chest of one Hunter, killing it instantly. The other Hunter trampled Phil while it was taking hundreds of assault rifle rounds to its armor. As it directed its attention to the rest of the team, Phil lept onto it's back and planted a frag grenade in the worm-filled beast. Just then, the other Spirit deployed a swarm of Drones that lifted Phil off the back of the Hunter as it exploded into a heap of orange blood. The Drones carried Phil into the sky and ripped his unshielded body into pieces. Caleb, Buck, and Quinn shot the rest of the Drones with their assault rifles but the Drones took Quinn into the air. Caleb and Buck dispatched the buggers before Quinn was killed, but he was dropped several meters and broke his neck.

The fight was over. Buck, realizing that Quinn had a chance of survival, commanded Caleb to commandeer a warthog heading to the castle fortress and get Quinn to a Pelican for MedEvac. Buck, who still felt responsibility to save Skopje, sprinted through the muddy terrain to meet up with the ODSTs. He found Gage Yevgenny and Dustin O'Conner, what he thought was the last of the ODSTs, and helped them charge the castle. Encountering little resistance he was able to help the remaining Marines protect and evacuate the castle.

He met with Caleb and two other Spartans that lost their teams during the battle, Harlem A-359 and Lindsay B-003, after finding that Quinn was deeply injured and in a coma. Quinn was sent to Reach for medical help while the others went back to war.

Later, in 2549, at the battle of Paris IV, Caleb, Harlem, and Lindsay were killed in a space battle between the UNSC Winter Winds and the Covenent cruiser Defiant Faith. The UNSC frigate was destroyed while Kilo Team escaped in a lifeboat. All but Buck were killed in the crash which landed them in a lake, not far from the battlefield set up by UNSC forces. After the battle, which resulted in a Covenant glassing, Buck and a group of Marines escaped on the UNSC Chariot of Fire.

Entry Two: Marcus A-134
Born 06/04/2525, Marcus A-134 is a charismatic leader and brave warrior. Though he has made very few tactical errors during his career, he had awful luck on the battlefield. Marc only began with a team of three, half a regular team, and has proved equal effectiveness. His team, Spartan Team Echo, was composed of Commander Marcus A-457, Lieutenant Jezebel A-362, and Warrant Officer Pyotor A-200.

Unlike other teams, when he lost his other three members during augmentation, they were not replaced. Echo Team was given an old UNSC Scout Ship which they named Thundering Echo. It was equipped with stealth shielding, a MAC cannon, and three ballistic cannons. It was operated by smart AI Festival, before the AI was neutralized according to the Cole Protocol.

Marcus led his Spartans valiently through battle after battle, always coming out alive. It was 2552, July 17, the Spartans were staioned on SIgma Octanus IV when the covenent attacked. They were charged with obliberating the data stored on the fallen UNSC Antioch, a space staion, nearly destroyed, floating in space and being boarded by Covenant. It had a vital tactical information on it, so the Spartans boarded EVA booster frames and set off to eliminate the data banks.

Marcus took point with Pyotor and Jezebel right behind him. They were soon intercepter by Bashees. The team took evasive action, but it did not stop the Banshees from destroying Pyotor's booster frame. Pyotor flew through the vaccum and boarded a nearby Banshee. As he regrouped with Marcus and Jezebel, his flier was immediately destroyed by a Seraph fighter. The booster frames were no match for the Seraphs, but soon a squadron of Longswords intercepted and distracted the enemy ships.

The two Spartans landed on the exploding hull of the station and ran towards the data storage banks. When they got there they were attacked by Elite Zealots, the best the Covenent had. Only being equipped with assault rifles and DMRs, the Spartans were outmatched. Jezebel distracted the Elites as she commanded Marcus to use the gauss cannon on the booster frames to blow the reactor core of the station. He hesitated, but realizing it was the only way, he followed through.

He ran to the booster frame and started charging the gauss cannon. Then he saw the ship the Elites had come in on the opposite side of the station. When the cannon was charged he destroyed the Phantom that was docked with the station. He then radioed Jezebel over the TEAMCOM, but she was already dead. Saddened and vengeful, he knew where Elites were headed. He waited patiently near the entrance the Elites had taken and armed the chain-gun on his booster frame. The Elites came out, and he saw the leader, energy sword in one hand, data pad in the other. Marcus then started sprayin the Elite with 70mm bullets, watching it's flesh tear from it's body. Marcus knew that another phantom would come for the remaining Elites so he called for a Lonsword to drop carpet bomb on the installation. The Longsword comes and fulfills it's mission, but Marcus had failed his.

It did not matter n the long run because in only a month, the Covenant invaded Reach, where he would soon meet up with Buck B-202, Quinn B-173, Josh G-029, Derrick G-399, and Buck's faithful AI Jeffery.

Entry Three: The Fall of Reach, Part One
The Battle of Manassas:

July 19, 2552. Marcus A-134 of Echo Team, Buck B-202 of Kilo Team, and Derrick G-399 and Josh G-029 of Joker Team met for the first time on the UNSC Thundering Echo as it was docked at the spaceport of Manassas, Reach. There, Buck was reunited with Quinn B-173, after a long coma. Five days later they recieved word that Reach had been invaded by the Covenant. The newly formed Echo team was assigned to the evacuation of the civillians of Manassas, while other teams such as Gauntlet (composed of three Spartan IIIs) and Red (composed of three Spartan IIs) where doing the same in other populace cities around Reach.

Earlier in the year, Buck was assigned an AI unit named Jeffery who took the form of a Trojan warrior that was now in control of the Thundering Echo. The Spartans started to defend Manassas by using the ballistic turrets of the Thundering Echo to shoot down enemy dropships and the MAC gun to destroy corvettes. Marcus and Josh captained the ship while Derrick and Quinn took two of the cannons, Jeffery piloted and fired the MAC, and Buck was using the main turret on the outer hull. Several other small UNSC ships aided in this onslaught until they were called into space. The Thundering Echo, however, remained behind until they were sure the civillians had escaped.

Most civillian shuttles got out got away, but some did not, and soon a Covenant Supercarrier came into view. Jeffery got Echo out of range as fast as he could and turned on the cloaking. The Supercarrier then let down a rain of plasma and began glassing the city.

The Spartans had done their job and began their second assignment. They were to evacuate as many Spartans as they could and then deploy them near the Orbital MAC gun reactors for protection. The Spartans followed through with their mission, picking up teams Red, Gray, Gauntlet, Valkyrie, and Reaver. Each one was sent to a different MAC reactor and was deployed with some of the Thundering Echo's onboard armaments.
Entry Four: The Fall of Reach, Part Two
Anchor 12:

After they completed this task they were called into space to destroy vital information aboard the space station Anchor 12. It had been boarded by Elite Zealots. Marc remembered the last time he was on an assignment like this, how he had lost his team to these monsters not but a couple months ago. It wouldn't happen again.

Jeffery deployed Echo Team on the station where they gunned down numerous grunts and skirmishers. They made their way to they central command room where they found the prize. Seven Elites, all Zealots, but they were ready. Buck used his Spartan laser to blow the leader into dust and Derrick took down the Elite's shields with a grenade launcher. Just as this had happened Josh rocketed two Elites out of the situation and Marcus sniped one more before they had time to react. Then Quinn landed a DMR shot in another Elite's head. The last Elite lept toward the team but Derrick planted a shotgun shell into his chest as he jumped.

The team planted explosives in the station and fled back to the Thundering Echo. Once on board the explosives were detonated and the Thundering Echo went silently back into the night.

Entry Five: The Fall of Reach, Part Three
The Everlasting Glory:

Echo Team recieved what looked like it's final mission. The Spartans were to board the Covenant flagship, Everlasting Glory, plant Jeffery into the command console, and have him destroy the ship. It seemed impossible to get there in the first place, but since the Thunderin Echo had cloaking technology it seemed almost possible.

Echo Team set off. Jeffery navigated through the Covenant fleet with exceptional ease. He approached the commanding vessel which was probably thoasands of times bigger than the Spartan ship. The AI, at Marc's command, disengaged cloaking and sped into the central chamber, tearing away its armored hull. The Spartans then deployed in a Falcon, letting the ship fly into the inner wall of the Supercarrier. Jeffery, catering inside Buck's head, provided tactical data to the team as they gunned down Banshees and Drones.

The team landed on a nearby landing pad and rained fire on the Grunts who defended it. They tore through their enemies until the landing pad was clear. Jeffery directed them through hallways and corriders filled with hostiles, all of which were gunned down by the team. They were soon in the main resting hall for the grunts. The Spartans tip-toed through the sleeping aliens until one of them woke. Derrick had stepped on the foot of a sleeping Grunt, causing it to squeel in agony. Many other Grunts were awoken and many more followed them. The supersoldiers sprinted though the beasts but the doors on the other side of the room were closing. All made it through but Derrick, who was cornered and fighting off thoasands of Grunts. Half of his body had made it through the door when it closed, slowly squeezing him in half. The other Spartans glanced at each other and at the half dead warrior in the door. Marc raised his sniper rifle and fired a single shot, ending his brother's pain.

The remaining soldiers took the last elevator leading to the bridge. As they ascended they trembled at the thought of what may be inside the bridge. The elevator doors opened, and there stood a pair of Hunters, who raised their guns and fired. Buck, Quinn, and Marc were quick to dodge the blasts, but Josh, who instead fired a rocket at one Hunter, was not. Josh's armor was breached and he layed there twitching and dying. The remaining Hunter prepared another blast, but Buck sent a grenade flying into what looked like it's head before it did. The grenade exploded, killing the beast and allowing the Spartans to continue into the bridge.

The doors opened, and there stood at least twenty of the biggest, strongest elites the three Spartans had ever seen. Marc looked at Buck and nodded. Buck pulled a flamethrower off of his back and unleashed Hell onto the Elites. Marc and Quinn killed them with DMRs, as they were burning alive. Buck's flamer ran out of fuel, and the bridge ran out of Elites. Buck ran to the central terminal and looked out the viewscreen. He saw the Covenant fleet start fleeing from the UNSC and triumph ran over him. But then, as the covenant ran, hundreds more ships came into view. All of them open firing on the UNSC fleet. Buck saw Reach below, being glassed and started to wonder why he cared. He looked beside him at Marc, who had taken off his helmet and raised his sidearm to his head. Instead off inserting Jeffery into the terminal, he closed his eyes, hearing the burst of Marc's pistol. When he opened his eyes he felt a faint stinging in his chest. A Covenant energy sword was sticking out of his breastplate. He then saw that the same had happened to Quinn, his last friend. He fell to his knees as the Elite Generals that surrounded him came out of their camoflauge state. He crawled to the terminal, un afflicted, and inserted Jeffery in the computer.

The Everlasting Glory was destroyed and Reach was lost along with all the brave soldiers who fought there. All the people who died protecting a lost cause. Protecting Humanity.

Killing Spree!

Its got a few holes in it here and there and a little more back story to get into the characters better would be nice. Overall though not too bad, it kept me reading. With a little more work and some more detail it would be pretty good.
