Subject: The Halo Addiction

Now I'm sure some of you out there have been addicted to the Halo trilogy at one point or another. When I first picked up the controller and experienced my first game of Halo CE, I new it would become a new hobby. I've always wondered, How many people had the same experience.

So the point of this thread is to commend that of Bungie and ask the community within, How has any of the Halo's affected your lifes?

OK. Think how imaginative a seven year old can be. Now think what happens when you hand him a controller with Halo. That was basically me.

If I don't believe in him...

why should he believe in me?

my addiction ended with reach quite frankly
although this maybe due to the fact that i have become annoyed at only having fps to play
the only way ill become addicted again is if 343 makes a halo game equivillent to Total War series

Signatures are for squares.

I knew I would be addicted to Halo the minute I got my xboxlive account up and running in 2006 for the first time.

Also, my addiction to the games ended with Reach. The books still pique my interest though.

I knew from my first introductory game in Halo 3 that I would love it, and now I'm a total Halo addict XD I love every bit of it, and I believe I always will, even if the amount of time I have to invest in it diminishes over the years.

Former Halo hater, but when I downloaded the Halo CE demo I was instantly hooked... like drugs.

Sangheili Major: "Brute ships. Staggered line! Shipmaster, they outnumber us, three-to-one!"

Rtas 'Vadum: "Then it is an even fight. All Cruisers, fire at will! Burn their mongrel hides!"

I was seven or eight when I started playing. I loved it, at that time more for the gameplay than the story, however. By Halo 2 I was just absolutely hooked. ;) Especially after having seen Thel.
I always have been a sucker for the Sangheili.

I've always loved it and probably always will. 8D I'll just wait for new -blam!-s to come out like the hyper little fan I am, and if at some point in the future the Halo franchise comes to a halt, I'll just go a reread books/graphic novels and play over the games. LOL
