Oh hey there

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

As we all know when the Pillar of Autumn is taking off after beating the last mission, in the hangar if you hold the vision stick to the right you get to see a Spartan in a cryo tube.

My question is, whether or not we in the Universe forum have come to a conclusion about whether it is John or Linda?

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

It is John apparently, although by logic it would be Linda seeing how she was place in the closest Cryo-tube when she died.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

I have seen you future

I think it's supposed to be John, but it was also confirmed as an easter egg, so we don't have to worry about why he as chilling (Ha!) in a hanger during the battle.

Trying to find it. Gimme a minute. I know it was in a Game Informer article.

Not sure if you'll take Halpedia as concrete evidence, but it's all I could find. The quote is at the bottom under "Sources".

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

I just think it's an easter egg like Buck and the monkey in ODST.

Easter egg...not really official.

In my own version John and Linda are fighting on the docks with 6 and emile, trying to hold out long enough for both the package and red team to arrive (communication is cut, they do not know that red team will never come). Linda gets injured/dies (like in TFOR, but moved here), emile dies, and noble 6 heroically denies master chief the opportunity to take the mac cannon, since cortana chose him and he's more important.

In a dream world...

For decoration purposes of course, placing a cryo tube on a hangar is the newest trend in ship decoration.

343 should hire you. Seriously, if that had happened then Reach wouldn't have been such a waste.

It's John, but it's also non-canon.
