Even though it is knid of expensive at $44.99, it is really worth it. It takes some getting use to, just because it's different. It feels just like the regular Xbox controller and is really light. The installation was easy, fast, and doesn't take up a lot of memory. It is very precise in terms of the joysticks. The only problem I could tell is that the horizontal axis is just a bit too sensitive, but this is easily fixed by setting the horizontal axis sensitivity to 1.

After you get used to the controller, it is going to be very easy to beat even the best players. It is a very good invest that I'm happy I made.

No with a controller you are never better than a mouse and keyboard foe.

Agreed... there is no way... I repeat, no way... that you can beat a good mouse/keyb player with a controller.

What I say...keyboard and mouse is unrealistic and lame. "Oh yes, let us turn 180 degrees in half a second with an assault rifle blasting full auto". PC gaming is on the verge of dying people, face it. The consoles are more powerful and cost WAY less.

I disagree, Extreme Killer. Single-threaded PC Gaming may be dead, but I seriously doubt PC Gaming is dying. HL2 hit the PC first and as far as I know, FEAR is only on PC.

And try playing an RTS with a joystick. There are certain games that just will never crossover as a matter of inteface logistics.

Consoles are powerful and they do cost less when you look at it all strictly from a gaming point of view, but PC's can do a lot more things than an xbox. Try modding Halo or Halo 2 on an xbox (I'M KIDDING MODS) - it can't be done.

So all I'm saying is that consoles may be preferred by some people, but they are not in any danger of dying - certain game genres will always prefer the PC.

lol You can turn 180 on a console just as fast if you turn up the look sensitivity. The only difference is you lose much of your accuracy considering you're aiming with your THUMB and the game constantly helps you aim to make up for the inherent loss of accuracy.

Consoles are great for almost every sort of gaming genre except for FPS and RTS because the mouse is the most precise pointing device when speed is key IMO. There's no aim assist to pick targets out for you when someone jumps into your crosshairs and pulls your aim away. You have 100% control of where you're pointing.

But the mouse is slower to move. And when you need to aim way up, you have to move the mouse of the mousepad.

Gladiator, you can adjust mouse sensativity. You should try a gaming mouse. On mine I can adjust dpi setting's on the mouse. I use 700 and 100 dpi's. On 1000, I can move my mouse 2 inches and spin a full 360 degree's.

Check it out....Logitech mx 518
