This message is for all users of Intel Integrated chipsets, experiencing a bad experience with game graphics. Normally, you would see a warning message and bad graphics (no textures, grey chief)

If you download this

you will notice a great improvemtn in color.

I have a better idea......Just get a decent GPU.

You have no idea how much I hate people giving answers like that.

While it was rather rudly put, I do have to agree with him. If you want to play halo, an integrated chip just doen't do it justice.

I stuck mine up my ......... because it was too slow
it broke.
I find this type of graphics chip highly inadequate for the average gamer.

Well without this download, your chief is grey, covenant is grey, no textures. With this new driver, then you can fix all of that, with some restructions, but it'll produce the equivilant of a GeForce 2, which isnt as bad as a normal integrated chipset.

No, integrated graphics suck. They put ultra *insert really high number here* or dual pumped microchipset or some other crazy jargon that means absolutly nothing infront of the name just so people will think they are good.

I may be dreaming, but I don't recall the GeForce 5500 FX as being an onboard GPU. Am I wrong?

You are right.

I really tried to find anything useful I could add to this post in order not to make it look so short, but I couldn't find anything ;)

I have a GeForce3 and my graphics are fine, being able to play PARIAH and all but I cant get the Cheif's suit to be shiny or a golden visor. It's not that bad of a card.
