Marine Sanders
Major 1st Division U.S.M.C.

You cannot exaggerate about the Marines. They are convinced to the point of arrogance, that they are the most ferocious fighters on earth- and the amusing thing about it is that they are.

I have been hearing a few rumors and brief mentions about a sequel for Halo: Ghosts of Onyx for a while now. I was just wondering if anyone had a release date for me... Onyx was my favorite book of the entire series and I just wanted to know...

Thanks
-Dustin

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

No release date yet, but it will come eventually, I wouldn't put it past this or next year.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

Karen Traviss. Watch out.

Edit- Very Old but still very relevant.

Stupid ass washing machine...

I'm looking forward to it. GoO has always been my favourite Halo novel - the S-III's (non-NOBLE) are, in my opinion, one of the most interesting and brilliant aspects of the Halo lore, and make great stories.

In fact, I'm re-reading GoO now, so I'm going to need a sequel in about two days! >:)

"Concise and devoid of elegance...what I have come to expect from human communication"-Endless Summer

I really,really,really want.

Man, GoO was so good. Best Halo book yet that I've read.

I really hope so.

Why are you saying to watch out? Her contribution to Evolutions was one of the best stories in there, and that article wasn't very specific at all, so why do you say we should watch out?

Anyway more on topic. I'm very excited to see what Karen Traviss will do, and I especially want to see what the Haloverse is like Post Halo 3. I can't wait for it.

What i mean by watch out, is that you should be on the look for her. No negative undertones here.

Geez, I know I don't have a great history with you but that was very unwarranted.

I too love her books, after reading her Gears novels, i can trust that character development will be prominent in her next outing with the Halo franchise.

The article was brief because i did a quick search to back up my claim, it's not meant to be very specific because it's early on in the process, details are vague on purpose.

I wasn't trying to sound like I was attacking you, sorry if I came across that way. I didn't mean it to come across as confrontational at all :/ Terribly sorry that it came across that way.

I've only read Human Weakness :/ But I know that was good, maybe I'll read some of her other stuff sometime when I have the chance, her Star Wars stuff is what interests me most, I absolutely adore Mandalorians.

No! Goddammit, no!!

This sucks hard ass. I don't know anything about this author, but it isn't Nylund, and she's writing a follow up to a Nylund book...even if she's a great author, I don't like this.

Karen Traviss is my favorite author, amazing work on the Gears of War and Republic Commando novels. Can't wait to see what she does with the Haloverse

She said in an interview that it is not following the same characters as Nylund, it simply takes place in the time period following GOO.
