I started up the heated debate on whether the SPARTAN-II in the cryo tube near the end of Reach is really Linda.
I created the Moa XING avatar pic.
Also I earned the All Star nameplate with this submission to Week 14 All Stars http://www.bungie.net/images/News/Inline11/bwu_0415/art/likea boss.jpg

Note: I debated on which is the final level of Halo: Reach: Lone Wolf or the Pillar of Autumn. I went with PoA as the credits role afterwards and Lone Wolf doesn't really have an objective.

I concur with the two above me. The Maw. No competition there.

Halo and the Maw are my favorites.

My name is Legion, for we are many.

Pillar of Autumn.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

The Maw, I don't even have to explain why.

The Maw = One of the most exhilarating gaming experiences... ever.

What do you think made Halo so successful in the first place?

  • 06.04.2011 2:20 PM PDT

The Maw, of course. The story in the original game is flawlessly built to that moment, with the best ending in the franchise.

The Great Journey was just a disappointing ending made for the sake of making the Elites our allies.

As for Halo in Halo 3... no comment, terrible level in every sense of word.

  • 06.04.2011 2:22 PM PDT

Yeah, we still believe in all the things that we stood by before.
I know, to everything we've seen here, maybe even more.
I know we're not the only ones and we were not the first.
And unapologetically we stand behind each word.

The Maw. Favorite end mission of any game ever.

The Suicide Mission of Mass Effect 2 is neck in neck I have to say. And is Mass Effect 3 lives up to its hype we might have a Halo-Killer on our hands.

I preffered The Great Journey to The Maw.

I am a penguin. Every day I boogie on down to the water, and eat fish. Once, while fishing in the deepest depths, I saw great Cthulhu... And he said to me "Shine, to thine own self be true. They can't tell you what to do once you've gone guru." Also, I should tell you, "slide".

Inventor of the Bombstache avatar!

Lone Wolf. It is AMAZING how much narrative they crammed into so little.

Yes, I AM just that awesome.

Coastal Highway with the Maw just a centimeter below it. It gave me the sense that if you -blam!- up, you will screw the entire human race.

Imagine a triangle. It's perfect, but a little plain. You take a chisel, and carve a small decorative symbol into it to make it a little more interesting. People like it, but it could use a little more.

So you then take a sledgehammer..

"What do you hear?"
"Nothing but the rain."
"Then grab your gun and bring in the cat."
"Boom, boom, boom!"

I'd have to go with The Maw. Then it's a toss up between PoA and Halo.

Don't know why it calls me rubuilt gymnast 7, it's really UNSC595 in case you were wondering and I have played all of those games online

Halo, it was awesome that the floor was exploding while you were driving. The huge jump at the end was cool and your chillin' with Arby. I didn't like that Guilty Spark was easy to kill, there should have been a boss battle against the Gravemind.

Plus that one was the one that got me into it the most, when I was on the final stretch for the driving part I was like GET TO DA CHOPPA!!!!

The Maw:

The end of the beginning of the Halo trilogy...

First time I played through that level, all those years ago...

Just, Wow.

Coastal Highway is up there too, for sure.

In all honesty though, I liked each ending in its own, unique way :)
