First off, if you have Myth 2, you don't really need to install TFL, all of the levels can be played on Myth 2 with this.
Here's a guide to help with the installation process. It was written for Myth 2, but most likely works for installing Myth: TFL, but I can't guarantee it, never had to install TFL from a disc before.

Installation
Get out your Myth II disc. Be careful with it as the game is old and replacements may be hard to come by. If you want to be absolutely safe, download this backup here, and burn the ISO to a junk disc for the install. This disc will not work to play the game, but will be just fine for an install. (Patch 1.6 will make this playable)
Insert your Myth II disc into the drive. It should autorun and bring up a menu. If you are running Windows 95, 98 or ME, you can click INSTALL. If you are running anything newer, then EXIT this menu.
Open up "My Computer" .
Find your CD drive, it should be labeled as MYTH II if the disc is in. Right Click and go to EXPLORE.
Right Click on the Autoplay File. Select Properties. Select the Coimpatibility Tab and select Windows 95. Click Apply, and then click OK.
Now you can simply eject and reinsert the disc and Install from the menu.
This will install all the Myth II files you select to your hard disk. Select a full install, the games not extravagantly huge and this will ensure the most options and compatibility with other players.
Like I said, this guide may work for the TFL disc, but I'm not sure. I'd say you're best off just installing Myth 2, if you have it. If you have any more questions, you should probably check out FCAW, really the only place you're going to get significant old school game advice.
