Subject: Halo 4 predictions here-

Oh yeah It's Rayzed.

Looks like he just owns Bungie. The last time he was actively involved in the game making process was Halo2.

[Edit] Somehow I quoted the completely wrong post, lol.

There is a certain point of tolerance that should never be reached.

He woke up, having not gone anywhere since Halo 3, with a jetpack. I wouldn't raise expectations about this game if the trailer has messed continuity up already.
It looked more like a booster than an actual jetpack.

So what if he has a jetpack? Big deal. Halo 4 isn't doomed to be a failure just cuz MC has a jetpack.

FOR THE LAST TIME PEOPLE. The Cheif is using anti gravity boosters that are installed in all MK 6 suits. You can notice it comes right out of those two bulges on his back. Anti gravity boosters are NOT jetpacks.

If Bungie isn't involved, then Im worried about the storyline being turned on its head. Im concerned that the franchise will take a turn for the worse. Wish it had ended with Halo 3.

You do know that Frank O' Connor, the person who wrote the Halo story, is now working at 343i. So the last thing you need to worry about is story.

Also they hired the Ascendant Justice guys and BS Angel. We don't need to worry about plot being dumb.

you are what you dare.

at the end of Halo 3, if i remember correct, before MC entered the cryotube he was using small thrusters in the vacuum to move.

edit:

some1 already said that (stupid 2nd page). -blam!- on me.

I'm not entirely certain where I heard it, but I read that Mark VI suits are equipped with compressed gas that is ejected upon jumping, providing an in game reason for Master Chief jumping higher in Halo 2 and 3, than in Halo 1.

As for Zero-G maneuvering, i'm fairly certain that compressed gas can in fact be used as a propulsion.

Edit* Was quoting somebody, but for whatever reason it didn't work.

Umm... what? Frank O'Connor is apart of 343i now. And he is the Franchise Director.

He had nothing to do with creating the original Halo story as claimed.

Hey, for those only mentioning the boosters, his armor didn't even look the same as before.

Probably because is a CG trailer.

Anyways its exciting to continue the story, whatever Bungie had in mind is what 343 will do.

Maybe the ancient evil refers to the pre-cursors?

And that bungie have to approve the story before the game is even made?

I can't really say what I want to see from this game, but what I don't want to see is gameplay comparable to the past 4 games and a storyline that's similar in any way to the past 4 games.

To those that are concerned about Chief having a jet back...Lets just say it took him three games to actually use his "thruster pack". Not a jet pack. In the Books, some Spartan 2's were equipped with thruster packs to move about zero G. Not a jet pack, its a thruster pack (:

And I predict that chief will go into the forerunner shield world, fight sentinels, flood, some new other new Aliens, along side with the The rest of the spartan 2's and 3's, Mendez, and Dr. Halsey. which were trapped there in the first place(RIP Kurt ): ) Also, there was a UNSC prowler hiding on the Moon next to Onyx. Maybe they'll spot the chief entering the forerunner world. They'll bring back up, along with warthogs and human weaponry, etc.

For those of you who saw the Halo 4 E3 2011 trailer, I would like you to put what what thought of it, and any predictions you might have about scenes from it, such as the giant structure, and to what it might be. I thought it looked very cool, and the fact that it is a new trilogy also. Ive seen many doubts about it already, but you havent even given it a chance yet. Stick to the positive things as much as possible. I think that the structure is forerunner. I also heard at the beggining of the E3 conference, that they said they took he purple out of Halo 4, purple is related close to the covenant colors, so an enemy, possibly the flood, who knows.
maybe forrunner defences?

Having no purple must mean the new trilogy will be very different... good thing

You're not serious right? He had nothing to do with Halo's storyline. Joe Staten wrote all of the halo games by himself with the exception of Halo 3, on which he worked with Luke Smith and Robert McLees.

Frank O'Connor wrote the weekly updates and wasn't even an employee until Halo 2. That's whiy I'm with Vigilent on this one. Halo/Joe Staten isn't involved = worried about the story.

I will go on to say, however, that I have no doubt that gameplay will probably be pretty awesome, but the story is what I'm more concerned about.

You guys are retarded. Bungie had the story for the next 3 games writen out already. They have the story fine for the next 3 games!

-I repeat

NEXT 3 GAMES!

The Jet-Pack is actually a Thruster-Pack and MC has always had it. You just couldn't put it to use in the games.
