Elites will BETRAY the Humans............

I'm not sure what you're looking for.

"Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing" -- Proverbs 12:18

I've got the feeling too.

I'm not really an Apple person (Bananas forever) but damn, that's kinda sad.

What if they Covenant isn't even in the game?

"Find where the liar hides, so that I may place my boot between his gums!" - Rtas 'Vadum

It is highly improbable that they will. It would also be a pitiful way for the story to develop.

No The Elites Seceded From the Covenant and Besides the Covenant Dissolved. I bet the Brutes are Mad as Hell Right Now

  • 06.06.2011 3:15 PM PDT

After the Great War, the elites were still fighting the brutes for many years, as we saw in Halo: Evolutions

Also, everytime they lost a ship in this war they just couldn't replace it, due to the lack of the San 'Shyuum hierarchs which withheld all the Forerunner technology

So, what are they gonna use to attack humanity (which is also semi-destroyed after the 30 years war)? Stones and crossbows?

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

The elites aren't like that, unless humanity tries to screw them over.

"But I do not think we're invincible"

I'm guessing a human-forerunner encounter will be the main plot of Halo 4. An Elite betrayal seems rather unlikely.

Elite betrayal would be a massive break in their code of honor.

Most likely they ally and work with humans closely.

i think the elites wont be in the game untill the middle of the game and they mught betray them but not the arbiter he will stay with the chief untill they both actually die

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

The Arbiter and Chief alliance was the major symbolic theme of H3.

I doubt they would just scrap that in H4.

Grunts: Could care less, they followed whoever was nearby during the civil war.
Jackals: Could give a damn about the Covenant, most likely went back to being merchants and pirates.
Hunters: Likewise, followed who was nearby, most respected the elites and I don't see them being in a civil war.

I can't see elites betraying the humans in any way. I think they'll probably be helping the humans search for forerunner artifacts if anything.
